It has been many years since I have posted to this blog.  First off, I do NOT believe in bragging, boasting or pride of any kind what so ever.  I am stunned to see America has learned to respect me on several different levels.  I have been able to lead 3 individuals in 3 tries of the last few days.  It is like hitting a home run grand slam 3 times in a row every time you come to the plate.  Compassion is the most important ingredient any person can supply to leading a soul to Jesus Christ. Evil attacks me every moment and this time is not different.

I have found the power of God becomes more concentrated studying the Bible and Praying.  If I tell it in public, the American public will shut it down and pray against me.  The most evil place in the world against soul winners can be found on the Web.  If the Northern United States gets wind of it or California, they will work day and night against Christians and Bible Believers until they have stopped someone from winning souls.  I do not recommend posting even a hint of Christian Doctrine or things on the Internet if you value such in your church or your work with God.  Even phone calls are monitored to stop soul winning.  Written communication is about the only safe way for a Believer to exchange information or Bible Study information.  The Fear of God or the Fear of the LORD is the most important doctrine on the power of God that I am aware of.  You can find it in Dr. Peter S. Ruckman’s (considered an evil name) International Sunday School Lessons. There a written transcripts of these Lessons in Theological Studies, Volume 1. It is two lessons in the ISSL Lesson 8 and 9.  It is chapter 8 and 9 of the Theological Studies.  It will draw you closer to God than anything else I know about.  The basic 2 books, the Local Church and The God Called Man have detailed information.  Each of these books are avail to the Kindle Reader at Amazon.com. Begging for such power for 12 years is absolutely critical in getting this kind of mercy and grace from Almighty God.  If you can find it, the sermon by Dr.Sam Gipp called Beyond Meat is also worth studying.  Keeping fresh sermons from Bible Believers are also very important in doing this. Bro. Mark MacGaughey is also one of these that reminds me of old fashion power.  I hope this a help to you.

What is Ramah?

What is Ramah? What is Ramoth-Gilead? There was a great spiritual war brewing in the land of Israel following the days of Solomon. The kingdom had been divided into two kingdoms, Judah and the ten tribes called Israel. Jeroboam became King of Israel. He immediately started a new system of worship in opposition to the LORD God of Jerusalem.  Because God resided in the Holy of Holies, the temple was the center piece of worship in the Jewish religion.  Because the temple was in Jerusalem the political power resided in Jerusalem. This was more than the Kings of Israel could stand.  He began a new system of worship in Israel based on Baalism. Jeroboam made two golden calves for them to worship. He then cast out the Levities and God chosen priesthood and put people of low moral standing in the new priesthood.

2 Chronicles 13:6-11 (KJV) Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, is risen up, and hath rebelled against his lord. 7 And there are gathered unto him vain men, the children of Belial, and have strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and tenderhearted, and could not withstand them. 8 And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye be a great multitude, and there are with you golden calves, which Jeroboam made you for gods. 9 Have ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods. 10 But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the LORD, are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites wait upon their business: 11 And they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the shewbread also set they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken him.

When the system of Baal worship ceased, Baasha King of Israel, build a fortress on the main road to Judah.  The purpose of this fortress was road block to the Jewish temple in Jerusalem.  His political power was threatened by Asa and the LIVING God.

2 Chronicles 16:1-6 (KJV) In the six and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah, and built Ramah, to the intent that he might let none go out or come in to Asa king of Judah. 2 Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the king’s house, and sent to Benhadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying, 3 There is a league between me and thee, as there was between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent thee silver and gold; go, break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me. 4 And Benhadad hearkened unto king Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel; and they smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abelmaim, and all the store cities of Naphtali. 5 And it came to pass, when Baasha heard it, that he left off building of Ramah, and let his work cease. 6 Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.

Anything you put between you and God is a road block.  The Kings of Israel blocked the main road to Jerusalem.  First Jeroboam then Baasha.  Jeroboam set up a false religious system and Baasha blocked the road literally.  Some of you are asking what this has to do with you today. We all love Jesus.  We don’t have any road block today.  If you will take your blinders off and open your eyes you will see there are many road blocks today!

Galatians 1:8-9 (KJV) But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Any one preaching another gospel is a road block set up to deceive you and take your blessing away.

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 3:16-18 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus is the only way to God the Father.  If you don’t believe in salvation by grace alone, you are condemned already and on your way to hell. Buddha will not take you to heaven.  Allah cannot save your soul.  Confucius will never help you to get born again.  The Blessed Mary cannot save you.  The Dal Lama does not know the way to heaven. Water will never save you soul and make you clean inside. A little sprinkling will never wash away your sins.  The lost dead are already in Hell.  No prayers can get them out of purgatory. Sacraments are a lie from the pits of hell.  Bread and new wine are pictures of Jesus Death and have no merits of salvation.  Works apart from salvation are damned by God.  Feeding the children will not save you!  Help those in Africa cannot save you or keep you from the fires of hell.  Helping those in the inner cities will not wash your sins away.  Only Jesus Christ and his blood have that power.

Revelation 1:5 (KJV) And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

1 John 1:7 (KJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Joel and Victoria Osteen will lead you to hell and steal your blessings.  Rick Warren will steal your blessings and help you meet the Antichrist. Oral Roberts will help you meet the devil. Bill Hybels will help you meet the world and sin. John MacArthur will show you confusion and take you to hell with him.  John Hagee will introduce you to the devil. There is no HOPE in the POPE. Hell will be hot for preachers who do not know Jesus Christ.

Matthew 15:14 (KJV) Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Matthew 23:24 (KJV) Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

Going to a bar and drinking some booze will not send you to hell, but sure can miss up your relationship with God. Watching the Boob Tube (TV) all the time will mess up your relationship with God.  We want to worship Michael Jordon, Lebron James, Tiger Woods, Tom Cruise, and Brad Pitt, but are these really proper role models for our kids?  Do they live by the highest moral stands? Do they love Jesus Christ?

Our young want to lift up Brittany Spears, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, Madonna, Lady Gag- ME. These are so wonderful role models?  They are crude, devilish and offensive to God. Yet they are worshiped.  Our society is turned wrong side out!  Sex has become a God.  Sounds like Baal Worship to me.  Baal was a fertility god and there were temple prostitutes in ancient Israel. How are we different from ancient Israel in our sins? Anybody ready to give up their time in front of the Boob Tube?

We lift groups like Meatloaf, Boys to Men, Queen, the Grateful Dead and a host of others then we expect our children to live Godly lives?  These groups are offensive to God.  These groups promote sex, drugs, and load music.   So did Baal. Do you want to die young, the average age of Rock Musicians who die is about 28 years old?  Does not sound very Christian to me!  God wants us to live to be old and gray, but Satan devours his own.  Satan is a killer.  I don’t recommend running around with a killer.  How many of you are ready to clean out your music collections?  How many are of you ready to change your music?

1 Corinthians 6:15-20 (KJV) Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

I cannot choose your life for you! I can’t tell you what do.  I can show things.  It is your choice.  You need to a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.  Jesus wants you live your life more abundantly.  Jesus died for you.  Jesus wants the best for you!  If you want to seek God there are things you can do to make that easier.  If you want your children to grow up right, you need to set a good example for them.  What kind of example are you setting for your children?  Ask God about this.  See what God has to say.  God’s opinion matters, not mine.  I invite you to do business with the LORD.  Pray right now ask him to forgive you and help us to change your life. Help you to make change for the better. Are you ready for change? Jesus can change you. Jesus will change you.

Father God.
We thank you for this day.  We thank you for your great mercy and grace.  We thank you for your forgiveness.  I ask you to help the one who needs this message right now.  I ask you to help the one who needs to change their lives.  Help them to see bad communications corrupt good manners.  Help them to clean out their closets.  Help them to clean up their music.  Help them to understand. Help them LORD.  Help me a sinner. Help me to do right. Help some lost soul to get saved right now. I ask you to put conviction on the lost and dying world.  In Jesus Name. AMEN.

Have YOU Ever Been Thirsty?

Have you ever been thirsty before?  Have you ever really wanted something and you couldn’t quite reach it?  Have you ever desired something you couldn’t have?  Have you ever wanted something and it burned in your mind for days upon days? Have ever heard of something called living water? Did you know if you found this living water you will never be thirsty again for it?  There’s the story of woman at well, in John chapter 4. Let’s look at it.  It’s kind of long, but is a great story.

John 4:3-29 (KJV) He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. 4 And he must needs go through Samaria. 5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. 7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. 8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. 15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. 16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. 27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

Jesus had a need to go through Samaria.  Samaria was this forbidden land of Jewish and Babylonia blood.  Most Jews hated the Samarians, but Jesus know he would meet somebody special on this day there. As Jesus came Sychar, he met a woman at the well in a land that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.  You remember Joseph and his coat of many colors. This is that Joseph son of Jacob. It was Jacob’s well.

Jesus asked this woman for a drink to get her attention, because the next thing he done would change her life.  If you knew who I was you would ask me a drink for the living water. Whosoever drinks this drink will never thirst again.  It is a drink unlike anything else on earth.  This drink of water will give you everlasting life. She wasn’t thirsty. She did want the drink he offered her.  So he made her thirsty. Maybe you are not thirsty.  Jesus then told her to go get her husband.  She had no husband and he told him so.  It got her attention. How do you know I don’t have a husband? Then he told her no you don’t have a husband but you live with man and you have had five husbands.  The truth of her life hit her like a thunderbolt from the sky.  Who are you? Are you a Prophet?  How do you know these things?

Jesus then opened the way to the living water to her.  She knew about worship in Jerusalem and she knew salvation was of the Jews.  Jesus got her attention. Does Jesus have your attention?

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The woman knew the Messiah was to come.  She asked him about the coming Messiah.

25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Would you like to have been there when Jesus told her I am he. I am this messiah. I am the anointed one.  Would you like to meet the Messiah at the well?

This man told her things no one else could know.  This man told her the truth.  This man told her about messiah.  This man told about the GREAT I AM! She got thirsty and she got saved. She then got so excited, she went told all her friends and neighbors, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

Are you thirsty?  Have you been sitting in a church pew all your life and you never got thirsty?  Have you never felt the Holy Spirit in your life? Don’t you think it is about time to get thirsty?

All you have to do is ask and believe.  Jesus draws all men to him.  Jesus is given all men to him by the Father who draw them.  If you come, Jesus will not cast you out.

John 6:37 (KJV) All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

John 6:44 (KJV) No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

This wasn’t the end of the story.  She went and got them and brought her friends to Jesus.

John 4:28-29 (KJV) The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

Jesus saved me! Jesus help me! Jesus provides for my needs. Jesus Christ shows me things in the Bible! Jesus Christ opens doors for me.  Jesus Christ puts joy into my heart.  Jesus Christ puts people into my life.  Jesus Christ helps me to win souls to him.  Jesus Christ has help me to wins souls in the snow.  Jesus Christ has helped me win souls in the cold.  Jesus Christ has help me to talk to people I would normally have trouble talking to.  Jesus Christ has given me boldness to preach.  Jesus Christ has kept me in good church. Jesus Christ has healed people in my life. Jesus Christ has changed my life. Jesus Christ has changed the life of my friends. Jesus Christ has help the drunk.  Jesus Christ has help the dope pushers and those hooked on drugs. Jesus Christ has moved into my heart.  Jesus Christ has changed me.

John 16:13 (KJV) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

1 John 2:20 (KJV) But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

1 John 2:27 (KJV) But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Are you thirsty?  Have you meet Jesus Christ? Has Jesus changed your life?  Do you have the living water inside you?  Can you say, Can you give me Drink?

1 John 1:4 (KJV) And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

2 John 1:12 (KJV) Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

Father God! We love you! We adore you!  We want you to change somebody’s life today?  Help them to get thirsty. Help them LORD to find your living water. Help the one who needs this message to find it. Help someone to understand this message.  Help some find what they are looking for in you.  Help me a sinner before God. Help me LORD. I am nothing without you.  Help me LORD. Hide me behind the cross of Jesus Christ. Hid me. I ask you to lift up the glory of God, the honor of God and the praise of God. I pray in Jesus Name. AMEN

Why Should I Read the Bible?

How often should I read my Bible? Does it even matter if I look to God for truth? Can I be wise without God’s word? I believe I should read the Bible every day. There are times when I have to make myself read God’s Word. When I do read the Bible I am blessed for reading it. I have 3 college degrees and I have went to 4 difference schools of higher education, but studying the Bible has made me wiser than any higher education program. The Bible commands us to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God” in 2 Timothy. So many times the devil comes to us to tempt us.  We want to take out that pretty thing and play with it.  I want to play to, but I’ve learned something after I messed up many times.  God will help us with that presentation of sin, if we listen to the Holy Spirit before we get carried away with our imaginations.  This is called illumination. The Holy Spirit illuminates our minds.  The Holy Spirit has trouble illuminating our mind if we don’t put some Bible in our heads.  If we fight effectively then we need to read and study the Bible.

A wise friend once told me when I am down I need to read the Bible.  I know he is right.  The Bible cleans me up and washes me.  When I get down Bible READING is the Best thing for me to do.  I can ruff my way through three or four chapters and I can begin to feel something.  I catch on fire and I can read ten chapters easy.  On days when I can spend time with the Bible 50-70 Chapters warms my heart.  I love my Bible.  It is the Book for me!   God shows us this many times in the Bible.  Let’s see what he has to say about it.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

We need to know our Bible and be able to defend it when some know it all comes along. Did you know most Bibles take out the word “Study” from their translation? Someone does not want you to study your Bible. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (1 Peter 3:15)

Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. (Isaiah 34:16)

I should look for God’s Word early and often if I want to prosper. All wisdom is contained in the King James Bible.  I should not let it depart from my mouth and I should mediate upon it day and night.

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:7-9)

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. (Psalms 119:11)

I don’t like sin. I don’t like to mess up, but I’m a sinner and every man has sinned since Adam except Jesus Christ. By studying the Bible I will sin less against God, the church and brothers and sisters in Christ.

How does one get wise in God’s eyes? Lets check Proverbs 11:30?

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. (Proverbs 11:30)

How many souls have you won to the Lord? How wise are you? I’ve lead a few and there is no other experience like it on the face of the earth. Makes me want to shout and shout and praise him again and again. Remember no one is wiser than the Lord. That’s Satan’s problem. I’ve got enough troubles without exalting myself above God.

What about Proverbs 1?

The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof. Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. (Proverbs 1:1-33)

We get caught up in man’s wisdom!  I have got caught up in man’s wisdom.  The pride of man can get me into a lot of trouble.  When we seek God’s wisdom we are walking in the right direction.

1 Corinthians 1:20-21 (KJV) Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

1 Corinthians 2:6-7 (KJV) Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1 Corinthians 3:19 (KJV) For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

2 Corinthians 1:12 (KJV) For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

Treasure wisdom from God and you will never go wrong. I love reading my Bible. I try to read it at least once a year and sometimes twice. One of these days I’m going get it read 3 times in year. Sometimes I have trouble reading it, but I know I need it.  I How many times do you read the Bible?

What Make the Church Jesus Built Special?

What sets the Church that Jesus Built out from other things?  There is only one organization that Jesus promised he would build and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it – the church!  The church is promised to be upon the earth till Jesus Christ comes back.  Jesus Christ keeps the church going day after day.  The church is a living organism.  No other organizations is like it on the face of the earth! Too many seek God through all types of organizations.  So many want to sit up a group and elect a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer and ask for God to bless it and keep it going.  Before long, the president and his people are telling them what to preach and teach.  God does not bless such things for his cause very often.  God ordained the church to carry his message and all other organizations are pretenders to that power.  I believe in an independent autonomous church directly under the supervision of God Himself!

The funny thing about man is he always dies.  Death runs in his family!  All his organizations always die.  Rome died.  Babylon died.  Greece died. These were all political organizations.  When churches start turning their authority over to a convention or an association, they die too sooner or later.  God power is on his church and only on his church!  Don’t mess with his church!

Matthew 16:18-19 (KJV) And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

God gives special power to his church and his church only!  When two or three are gathered together in his name, God grants his power and presence to that gathering.   When man’s authority starts taking from the power and the control of God, God leaves and his power goes with him.  We wonder why God does not bless our worship.  Is your church under the authority of God or under the authority of Man?  When you gather for God’s purpose he is in the midst of you!  Where God is in the midst, so is the power of God.

Matthew 18:18-20 (KJV) Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Does God approve of your Bible?  Does God like your music?  This has a lot to do with the presence and power of God being in your church!  I love the power of God to be in my midst and I hope you do too!  I love to see the Lord God work in the place where I go to church.  I hope you do too!  I can’t tell who to associate with, or which Bible to use or which music to use in your church, but I can warn you that God looks at such things.  I want you to know such things matters to God.

We want God power in our midst, but are we willing to pay the price for his presence and power.  I am not against businesses, but a church is God’s business.  I am not against government, but think both Democrats and Republicans need to check their politics with God.  I think some organizations do good things, but these are not God’s church.  God church is very special.  God gave his church for one reason.  It is for his preaching.  It is for the salvation of souls. It is for the fellowship of believers. All this is based on God’s purpose.  We do well to remember that!

Father God.
Thank you for this day!  Thank you for your church!  Thank you for saving my soul.  Help the one needs this to find it.  Help someone to get something from this message.  Forgive me a sinner before you LORD!  Help us to do right in your eyes.  In Jesus Name. AMEN!

How Sure AM I of the Bible?

How sure am I of the Bible and the Word God? How sure can you be about the Bible and its teaching?  Today man’s word is not very dependable.  Today even contracts are strongly questioned.  I want to show that there is an authority out there that is much more dependable than man’s word.  There is an authority more dependable than anything else upon the earth!

2 Peter 1:16-21 (KJV) For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

In this passage of the Bible we see Peter witnessed the Baptism of Jesus Christ.  He heard the voice of Father and he saw the dove of the Holy Spirit come down upon Jesus.  This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Peter saw and heard this and didn’t miss any part of it.  It is a very blessed occasion in the history of Christians.  Peter tells he was in the holy mount with Jesus at the time. Then he compares this to how we can rely upon the Bible.

We have also a more sure word of prophecy.  In this case the prophecy is the Bible.  The Bible is the only book that contains prophecies that come true.  The Bible is called history prewritten.  So Peter is talking about the Bible in this verse.  The Bible is the only book or written that contains the light of God and the world would be a dark place without it.  And without the day star, there would be no light in the world.  Jesus Christ is the day star and when he rises in your heart, you receive the light!

Verse 20, warns us about using single verses to prove our spiritual points.  Basing teachings on one verse is a good way to twist the word to fit our fleshly desires.  We should always be careful to back up our teaching in the Bible with more than one scripture and then we should be careful with the context of the passages.

In verse 21 we get to heart of the matter.  This prophecy came not in old time by the will of man, but by holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.  This prophecy is the Bible, the word of God.  This is the doctrinal teaching that the Bible is inspired by God – God breathed.  Holy men of God were moved by the Holy Ghost of God!

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Let’s go back to verse 19.  We have a more sure word than the spoke audible word of the Father God himself.  Now wait just a minute, some of you are saying.  Hear me out please.  How many of you take the spoken word of a man as iron clad truth?  We want a written contract don’t we?  A lot of times we want an attorney to back up that written contract.  Peter is not saying that the spoken word of God is faulty!  Peter is saying that that our hearing of an audible voice is not as reliable as the written Word of God or the Bible.   We can hear things that are not there.  There are times when we can’t trust our own ears or eyes, but we can trust the written Bible.  The written Bible is the surest thing we have in this life. It is our written contract with God. Man cannot always be trust, but God can be trusted.  This is a mighty passage of scripture, but the Bible has much more to say about what is said in this passage.

Psalms 12:6-7 (KJV) The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

The words of the LORD are pure words.  They have been purified in the fires of Great Reformation. During the early years of the Great Reformation there were 7 versions of the Bible written in English.

1 – 1382-1395 Wycliffe Bible

2 – 1525-1535 Tyndale Bible

3 – 1535   Coverdale Bible

4 – 1536   Matthew Bible

5 – 1557-1560 Geneva Bible

6 – 1568-1572 Bishop’s Bible

7- 1611   King James Bible

Seven times God gave English Bibles.  The Seventh Bible of these is the King James Bible. This matches Psalms 12:6 perfectly.  In verse 7, most new Bible like to change this one.  If you haven’t seen this until now, I hope God opens your eyes to the truth.  God in the King James Bible promises to keep the Bible and preserve the Bible forever.  This is God promise to us! He will keep his word forever.

Psalms 119:89 (KJV) LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

There must be one bible on the earth today for it to be settled in heaven!  There are no originals.  There must one and only book on earth that agrees with the Bible in Heaven!  Every Bible changes the words. None are the same.  One of them must be true.  Which one is it?  I believe it is the King James Bible! I am certain that the King James 1611 is true to me without a shadow of a doubt.  I trust the King James Bible with my life.  It is the Book for me!

Luke 4:4 (KJV) And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Matthew 4:4 (KJV) But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Every word of the Bible is important to God.  We can’t just pick and choose what we want to believe.  We need to believe and judge the scriptures correctly.

Revelation 22:18-19 (KJV) For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Deuteronomy 4:2 (KJV) Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Proverbs 30:5-6 (KJV) Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Tampering with the Bible is serious business!  God warns us what will happen to us if we mess with the Bible and its words.  It is a very strong warning.  God gives us three different warnings not to do it.  I encourage you to check these out and see for yourself what the Bible says.

The King James Bible AV 1611 is the Bible I use and believe is the word of God.  I can’t make you use it.  I can’t make understand it.  I can invite you to check it and find out the truth!  I can show you things that are different in every Bible in print from the King James.  Most contradict the basic doctrines of the Bible.

There is one more thing I want you to see.  Some say the King James Bible is ALIVE!  I know what they are talking about!  The HOLY Spirit shows us things when we read the Bible.  The words of the Bible come to life when we read it.  That makes the words of the Bible living because the Holy Spirit works with the Bible when you read it.  No other Bible will come to life when you read it, but the KING JAMES Bible.  Try it.  Test it! See what it does to read it.  You got to be sincere in your investigation. You got to be sincere when you read it for the Holy Spirit to work.  Reading the other Bibles a lot tends make people sick and give them bad dreams.  If you have read lots of the new Bibles I sure you can tell about this one.

I don’t who this written for and addressed to, but I want you to have it so you can check it out yourself.  Test the Bible.  Try the Bible! Give it fair chance and you will be amazed.  The King James has power!  The King James changes lives.  The King James Bible convicts hearts and minds. Does your Bible do all that?

Father God.  We love you! We praise you!  We thank you for your Bible and its truths.  We thank you for souls you have saved.  Forgive me a sinner before God.  Help me with the blackness of my wickedness.  Help me LORD. Clean me up.  Help me LORD.  Help the one who need this to find it.  Help the one who need a change life and make this word real to them.  Help us with our needs.  Help us with our salvation. Help us with struggles.  Help us with our tests.  Help us with our trials.  Help our understanding.  Help me.  Help others to draw closer to Almighty God!  I praise the LORD for what did upon the cross of Calvary. What Happened to Christmas?

So many of us have forgotten Christmas or the reason for Christmas. So many of us have broken families and we no longer have Christmas trees full of decorations.  We no longer have stockings hung for us.  There are gifts given.  This is bleakest time of year.  It is a time for families to gather.  It is time for mistletoe with your wife. It is time for drink apple cider and hot chocolate.  It is time of sharing memories and teasing one another around the tree and Christmas Dinner.  Turkey. Dressing. Ham. Apple Pie.  My favorite Pecan Pie.  It breaks my heart to know people are alone and forsake during this time.  You should be stuffed with Christmas dinner.  Your ribs should sore with laugher and good cheer.  It is time to fill JOY and not sadness.  It is time to make new memories.  It is time to share Jesus.  We have memories of Dad and Mom around Christmas tree and the dinner table.  We need to stir those memories.  We need help with our heavy hearts.  Something is seriously wrong with our families and our homes throughout the world wide.  Evil tears at our lives and our home.  It robs us of our children and our hope.  There are many sad places around this world. I don’t know where they all are, but my heart is heavy for those places this day and in this season.  I want you get your peanut brittle and your piece of chocolate fudge.  I want you to be filled. I don’t who this message is for.  It is my prayer that ones who need this find it. It hope that those sad and abandon hearts find peace and friendship in hearts.  I ask the LORD God to help these souls over the next few days.  Help them to find joy.

This should a happy time filled with laughter and thanksgiving!  It should be a time when families get healed and homes are repaired. Jesus should be in our ears.  Jesus LOVES US.  Jesus wants the best for us.  I want the best for you.  I don’t have much to share, but I want to do what I can.

The Birth of Jesus Christ we don’t when, but we have time to remember that birth.  It is the best new this world has ever heard.  The birth of Jesus is the time a Savior came into this world to save us from our sins and give us HOPE!  The Birth of Jesus is miracle for all of us around the world.  Without his birth there is no hope for this world. We need hope.  We need God in our homes, our lives and our families. Here is the story of Jesus:

It is my hope that you find a warm and happy place with friends and family.  I extend my arms to you and ask the LORD to help you!  Hope is not gone.  Hope is very real.  Jesus came and he died for us on the Cross of Calvary.  Jesus was born and laid in manger with swaddling clothes about his body! The shepherds came.  The star shone high in the sky.  The angel proclaim Peace on earth and Good will toward all men.  Glory to God in the Highest.  My tears are failing for you.  My fiancée’s tears are fall for you.  We are crying for you and this lost Christmas.  Some you don’t know or understand what you are missing.  The love around Christmas is special. I want you to feel it.

Father God,
We love you. We adore and you Son Jesus.  We are thankful this is a time to celebrate your Son’s birth. We are thankful for your Son’s birth.  We thank you for hope and love at a time like this!  Help those who are dark places.  Help those who are far away from loved ones. Help them with unhappy homes.  Help the one who are most in need this day and the days to follow! Help them! Please LORD!  Help us that have plenty to shed tears for those who don’t have families and who have broken homes far and near.  Help those suffering in far land to feel the love of Christmas and Jesus Christ in the hearts and minds.  Help this to be a Merry Christmas!  Help Christmas Cheer to spread through the nations.  Help us God during this.  Help put our families back together.  Help us to have healthy homes. Help our homes to heal.  Help children to come home to Mommy and Daddy.  Fill our hearts with love and cheers. Help us to remember why Jesus Christ came and the real meaning of Christmas. Help me a dirty sinner. Help me a rotting sinner. Help me a stinking sinner.  Help me LORD. Help those in need in our country, our communities and our foreign lands.  Help us to have Christmas Cheer!  I pray for those who are in most. Help them LORD. LORD you know who they are. You know where they are.  You know there needs. Help them to have a Christmas Miracle across the world. Where I failed in this message it is my prayer that you Lord fill in the gaps I missed and give them what they need from you.  Thank LORD for coming of Virgin.  Thank you for being of pure blood.  Thank you for being perfect for me.  In Jesus Name. AMEN!

Is My Rigthteousness is AS FLITHY RAGS?

This is a very great and promising passage of the Bible.  It starts out with great promise to those who believe.  Since the beginning of the world, men have not heard, nor have understood what God has prepared for him that waits upon God.  Men have not saw what God has prepared to bless you with if you will wait upon him.  There are treasures in heaven waiting for us that served him.  God is wroth with us for our sins.  God is very disappointed with us who sin against. Him.

Isaiah 64:4-12 (KJV) For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. 5 Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved. 6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. 7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. 8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. 9 Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people. 10 Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. 11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste. 12 Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

We have sinned against God.  Yes there are fine and decent people in the world.  There are people who seek to do good.  There are those who wouldn’t harm a soul for anything on this earth.  There are nice people who are gentle in spirit and want to do right. There are good people who would not go out of the way to steal or lie about stuff.  There are good people who believe in sacrifices.  There are good people who believe in suffering. None this can save us.  When facing God’s justice, your decency will not help you. The Bible tells us NO NOT ONE has done right.  The Bible declares we are all sinners and fell short of the Glory of God.  We have all messed up in our lives.  We have all done contrary to God’s wishes.  Death runs in my family. I bet death runs in your family, too!  God died so you wouldn’t have to go to HELL.  God gave his life for you.

My righteousness is as filthy rags.  My righteousness is unclean.  I am dirty in the sight of God. He is pure and perfect in every way shape or form.  We are sinners by our nature.  We were sinners when we were born. We didn’t become sinners as we became older.  We sinned because we inherited our nature from Adam who first sinned against God.  Yes Eve took the fruit first, but Adam as the head of the family was responsible.

Jesus can help us if we will let him. Jesus can clean us up in ways we can never clean us up. 1 John 1:7-9 (KJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Few call upon the name of the LORD anymore.  God will punish those who do not call upon his name.  The LORD God is our FATHER who can mold us as a potter who molds the clay.  Our Father can share us and mold us.  God can change our lives.  If you doubt God, I challenge you to ask him to show you that he is real. Ask God to show you he is alive.  Ask God to prove himself to you.   If you will ask in sincerity, God will show you this in a way you will never forget.  Stand back and be amazed.  The LORD God is very real.  Test him. Check him out. Try him.  See if God is real.

If we run from God, God will turn our blessings into curses.  God will destroy our pretty things.  God will turn your life into a wilderness. God will get your attention one way or the other.  He’s God.  I’m just man.  God scares me.  Does God scare you?

The funny is when God scares us or gets our attention we turn to him and try to please him for a little while, then we turn back and go our own way. When God punishes us again, we tend to get upset and ask him why.  We want to know why he is doing these things.  We want him to stop.  It would better if we turned to him and committed our ways to him.  We need to learn from our past.  We need to learn to do right.  God help us!

Father God.
Thank you for the wonderful promise you give us.  Help us to admit our ways are wrong.  Help us to see you are real. Help us to know God really exists.  Help us to find the truth about you.  Help the one who needs to find this find it.  Help those who are need.  Help those who have burdens.  Help us LORD! Forgive where you fail you. Help us with our sins. Thank for Calvary and the Blood of Jesus. Help our churches to right.  Help us to do right. Help us to have revival in our lives. In Jesus Name. AMEN.

Part 9: For God so LOVED the World, that he gave his ONLY Begotten Son . . .

Did you know, God so loved the world that sent his Son to be a man to die for us?  God so loved his creation of man, he set man out to be above all his creation.  Man is special in the eyes of God.  God has special relationship with man.  Why did Jesus come as a man?  Is there a reason Jesus took the form of a man? There a reason Jesus took the form of a man.  Jesus had to be a man to die for man.   Jesus Christ and God loves man so much, Jesus became a man.

John 3:15-18 (KJV) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Philippians 2:6-8 (KJV) Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Here we can see Jesus was equal with God.  Jesus is equal with the Father and Holy Spirit.  Jesus came down made was made in the fashion of man.  It was huge step down from the Glory he enjoyed as the Second person of the Trinity. He went further by suffering upon the curse of dying upon a tree, the cross of Calvary.  I want to see we have a very special relationship with our Savior God.  Jesus is called our Redeemer.  Why is Jesus called our redeemer?  It goes back to the Old Testament.  It has to do with family relationships. The concept of redeemer is spoken of 119 times in the Bible.

The book of Ruth is the greatest illustration of the redeemer relationship.  Ruth is easily the greatest love story in Bible in terms of human relationships.  It is Ruth that I want to use to show this to you.

Ruth was a Moabite.  She was married to Chilion the son of Elimelech of the tribe of Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah.  Elimelech and his sons died while they were in Moab.  Ruth followed Naomi, her mother-in-law back to Israel. Chilion and family had left an inheritance in Israel, but Ruth and Naomi could not claim outright.  They needed a means to provide for their needs in Israel and God would provide them a way.  Imagine a young woman very pretty in a foreign land far away from home. Ruth was such a woman.  Boaz was near kin to the family of Elimelech and this is where Ruth settle upon Naomi’s encouragement.  There was law in Israel that a near kinsman could claim the wife and the property of the deceased.  This can be found in the book of Leviticus.

Leviticus 25:46-49 (KJV) And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour. 47 And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger’s family: 48 After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him: 49 Either his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.

As you can see if man found himself in trouble his near kinsman could redeem it for him.  This concept of redemption was also observed in these of a death of near kinsman and his proper or wife.  Ruth found herself picking in the crops of Boaz.  Naomi sent Ruth to sit at the foot of the bed of Boaz one night.  The next morning Boaz realizing Ruth was the widow of near kinsman sought to claim Ruth as his wife and he put the question to Ruth and she accepted.  First Boaz had to deal with nearer kinsman and he went to him and put it before the town council.  The nearer kinsman had property and a wife and he didn’t want to claim Ruth.  This is what took place in Ruth 4:4-7.

Ruth 4:4-7 (KJV) And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. 5 Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance. 6 And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it. 7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

Leviticus 25:49 (KJV) Either his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.

Boaz was a kinsman redeemer of Ruth.  Boaz took Ruth as his wife based on this claim of blood.  Boaz and Ruth would have son Obed and a grandson Jesse.  Jesse son was David, the future King of All Israel and the forerunner of Jesus Christ by blood.  This role of kinsman redeemer is type of what Jesus did for us.

Isaiah 7:14-16 (KJV) Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. 16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

Matthew 1:20-25 (KJV) But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Luke 1:24-75 (KJV) And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying, 25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men. 26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And they marvelled all. 64 And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God. 65 And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea. 66 And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him. 67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, 68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, 69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; 70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: 71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; 72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; 73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, 74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, 75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Jesus became a man to have blood related to us.  Jesus took the blood of Mary his mother and so Jesus has a common blood tie with us.  This satisfies God system of justice.  This allow Jesus, the second person of the Godhead, to die for man. That’s you and me.  Jesus didn’t die for angels.  Jesus didn’t die for whales.  Jesus didn’t die for monkeys. Jesus died for us so we could be born again and have fellowship with God.

The Bible calls Jesus our redeemer over and over again.

Job 19:25 (KJV) For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Psalms 19:14 (KJV) Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Proverbs 23:11 (KJV) For their redeemer is mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.

Isaiah 48:17 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

Isaiah 49:7 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

Isaiah 49:26 (KJV) And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Isaiah 59:20 (KJV) And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 60:16 (KJV) Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Isaiah 63:16 (KJV) Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

Jeremiah 50:34 (KJV) Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

Jesus is the only one of God that even comes close to the concept of Kinsman Redeemer.  Jesus is our Kinsman Redeemer.  Jesus is of near blood to you and me.  Jesus loved us enough to die for us.  Jesus loved us to make himself of near blood to us so he could die for us.  Jesus went to a lot of trouble to die for us. Jesus loves us.  Jesus suffered for us.  WOW!  What an awesome God we serve!

In this Christmas Season we need to remember we have a near kinsman redeemer who died for us.  We need to remember Jesus who became of the same blood so he could die for us.  This is the one point of why a virgin birth is necessary.  He also born of virgin to have pure blood. Our blood is corrupt.  His blood was made by the Holy Spirit and of a woman which does not carry the corruption in her blood.  Jesus Christ is the miracle of miracles.  God gave us a miracle called Jesus Christ.  It is something we should remember in this Christmas Season.  I wish you a very merry Christmas and I hope you will take the time to remember what Jesus means to you. He means a lot to me.

Father God.
I thank you for the miracle of miracles and the one who died for me. I thank you for virgin birth. I thank you for the kinsman redeemer you sent for me and all of us.  I thank you LORD! Help us to remember God loves us.  Help us to remember our kinsman redeemer and the importance of the virgin birth.  Help us love you more.  Help us! Help my family.  Help our families. Help our homes. Help our children. Help our lives.  Help the ones that dearest to our hearts. I pray in Jesus Name. Amen.

What about the Children?

There is a lot of stories in the Bible.  I want to turn your attention to the story in Deuteronomy 1. I want to talk to about Children and when they are responsible for their actions.  I want to talk to about when the LORD hold us accountable before him.  I want to talk to you about infant baptism and what the Bible has to say about it.  Here are the verse.  Please notice verse 39. It is the on which shows us something about this subject.

Deuteronomy 1:21-40 (KJV) Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged. 22 And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come. 23 And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe: 24 And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out. 25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God doth give us. 26 Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God: 27 And ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us. 28 Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there. 29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them. 30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; 31 And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place. 32 Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God, 33 Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day. 34 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying, 35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers, 36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the LORD. 37 Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither. 38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it. 39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it. 40 But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.

God sent his people into the promise land to claim and they thought the people there were too big. They were afraid of the people of the land more than they had faith in God.  Only Joshua and Caleb were ready to go into the promise land.  The other ten spies brought back evil reports and God sent all Israel into the wildness.  All the adults were judged and held accountable by God.  God is a God of Justice.  He hold you and me accountable to him.  God help those who were children different before God. Notice what it says in verse 39.

39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.

God told the ones too young to be held accountable because they did not know the difference between good and evil.  They did understand God’s system of right and wrong.  God does not hold children who do not know the difference between good and evil accountable on the question of Heaven or Hell.  Those children who die in this life before they know about Good and Evil will go to heaven.  When we reach the age of accountability we will be held responsible for their sins.  We reach the age of accountability at different ages.  Some accept Jesus at the age of 5 or 6.  Some accept Jesus at the age of 7 or 8.  Some wait later. Some don’t get it until 10-12.  That age comes at different times than others.  It didn’t come to Israel who were not of the right age during that time.  So many want to sprinkle their kids and tell them they are saved.  This is a good way to send your child to hell when he gets older.  Water just gets them wet.  I believe in a believer’s baptism.  It is a foreshadowing of what Jesus did upon the cross. The death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  It is a picture of salvation and nothing more.

You show them how to get saved.  They believe Jesus can save them. Jesus is the ONLY one with the power to save us from Hell.  Whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.  Many thinks water saves them. NO it does not. The Holy Spirit comes into our heart when we get saved.  This is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 12:13 (KJV) For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

2 Corinthians 1:22 (KJV) Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Ephesians 1:13 (KJV) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

I show you this next scripture for understanding only. It is a very used scripture. Mark 16:16. Let’s look at the whole verse instead of just part of this verse.

Mark 16:16 (KJV) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

So many quote the first part, but forget the last part of this verse.  He that believes and is baptized shall be saved.  Yes it does say that, but what the rest of that verse?  He that believes not shall be damned.  The emphasis is on believe not baptism.  He who does not believe is headed for HELL.  HELL. I don’t want anybody to go there.  Failing to believe on Jesus sends you to hell.  If you miss water baptism you still get to go to Heaven.  If you miss belief you go to HELL.  I just ask you to read the whole verse and listen to it.  It could save you from a lot of grief in your life.  It will save you from Hell.

God love you. God love you. He wants you to go to heaven.  He will take the little to heaven before they know good and evil.  Children are precious in God eyes.  God love the little children.  Every child is a miracle from God.  God hold the children special before his eyes.  We should treasure the children of this world.  We should treasure life in this world.

Hosea 4:6 (KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Our people and our nations are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. Many have rejected the knowledge of God and his Bible.  We have forgotten to laws of God.   When we forget God, God can forget our children.  This breaks my heart.  This hurts my soul.  This is something that grieves my spirit.  We need God.  We need his law. We need his Book.  We need to turn to God and seek his face.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This is something we need to consider in all our nations.  Shoes are important.  Clothes are important.  God is much more important.  Yes, the children are important. We should pray for our children every day. We should teach our children right.

I don’t know who this message is for, but I know God wants somebody to have it.  I hope the ones who need this message will listen to it.

Father God, Thank you for saving my soul and help me to see the truth.  LORD, I pray to you to find that one who needs this message.  Help them! Help them! Please oh LORD God.  Help them to know the truth. Help them to get saved.  Help them!  LORD I know you love them and so do I.  Help them please. In Jesus Name. Amen!

Haven’t we ever heard the about how we are going to fly away fly away fly away like a bird sprung from prison bars? Yes it speaks of death, but also talks of our rapture.  I love that OLD SONG. Wonder where we get that idea.  Surely come from a beer hall jingle.  It couldn’t be something from the Bible could it?  Surely some man just made it? What these scriptures?

Job 20:8 (KJV) He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.

Psalms 55:6 (KJV) And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.

Psalms 90:10 (KJV) The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Proverbs 23:5 (KJV) Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

Hosea 9:11 (KJV) As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.

Part 6: For God so LOVED the World, that he GAVE his ONLY begotten Son…

John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God loved those in the world so much he send his only begotten Son to die for us.  There is no greater passage in all the scripture on the sacrifice Jesus made for us in Isaiah 53. This passage shows the love of God possibly more than any other place in the Bible. God loves us and he sent us a Savior to deliver us from our sins.

Isaiah 53:1-12 (KJV) Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

In verse 2, Jesus Christ grew up as a tender child upon the wicked land of Roman Judah.  Four hundred years had passed since the Bible had stopped being wrote.  The Greeks and Maccabees had changed the land.  The temple had been defiled and political doctrines and the doctrines of men had replaced much of the Old Testament teachings.  The Romans had moved in and brought their gods.  Until John the Baptist appeared there wasn’t much that reminded people of God in the land of Israel.  Jesus was born among the darkest times of Jewish history.

2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

In verse 3, Jesus was despised and rejected of the authorities of his day.  The people often rejected Jesus. Jesus was a man of sorrows.  Jesus suffered as a man was acquainted with our grief. Jesus was tempted at all points like we are, yet without sin.  He was despised and we gave no esteem or privileges. Jesus no special recognition. In fact, we hid our faces. We didn’t want to look at him.  We rejected him.

3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Hebrews 4:14-15 (KJV) Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Jesus borne our griefs and carried our sorrows.  What little privileges we gave him, Jesus was stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  They spit on him and they whipped with a cat of nine tails.  They whipped him until all his bones showed. Look at Psalms 22:17.  I tell all my bones.  His garments are parted.

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? 2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. 3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. 4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. 5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded. 6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. 7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. 9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts. 10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly. 11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. 12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. 13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion. 14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. 15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. 16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. 17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. 18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

In verse 5, Jesus was wounded for our transgressions and Jesus was bruised for our sins.  Jesus was whipped for our peace and by the stripes of Jesus we are healed. God got hurt because we are sinners.  We have sinned.  Every time we sin, Jesus took the punishment so we didn’t have too.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

We have all like sheep gone astray.  We have turned and sought our own wicked ways.  Who has done this? All of us. Every one.  God laid on Jesus the sins of us all. The Pope. The President. Mother Teresa. Me. Your mom. Your dad.  Everyone mess up. Every sin is has been put on Jesus.

7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Even though we have oppressed and afflicted him, Jesus never complained. Not even once did Jesus complain. Jesus the Lamb of God is slaughtered for what we did. Jesus never opened his mouth against the sinners.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Jesus was taken from prison and delivered to the cross by his judges.  Jesus was cut off from the land of the living.  Jesus died for the transgressions of God’s people, he was stricken.

9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Jesus Christ made his grave with wicked. He was buried in borrowed tomb of the rich man, Joseph of Arimathaea. Jesus never tried to deceive anyone. Jesus was without sin. Yet he was buried with sinners in rich man’s tomb.

10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

It pleased the LORD to bruise him.  God put the grief on his Son.  Jesus Christ was an offering for our sins.  Yet there is coming a time when Jesus Christ will prosper and rule with rod of iron. Jesus will set up the kingdom and destroy Anti-Christ.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

By the travail of Jesus’ soul, God will be satisfied by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many.  The Blood of God is infinite.  God is infinite. Jesus had the Blood of God in his veins. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world.

Acts 20:28 (KJV) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

1 John 2:2 (KJV) And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Jesus had portion with the great.  His garments were divided with the strong.  Jesus poured out his soul unto death.  Yet he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many and made his intercession for the transgressors.  Jesus is still interceding for us. He is our mediator before God as he sits on the right hand of God.  This Man, this God has done something wonderful for us. We need to take him into our hearts and love him as much as he loves us.

God loves us.  He wants the best for you. He opened a door so you could have the best.  Thank the LORD God for loving you and what he has done for you.  He planned to save you in 712 BC when Isaiah 53 was written.  Here is the love of plainly written for us in the pages of the Bible.  Thank you, LORD!

Father God,
Forgive me a sinner. So full of sin, I don’t understand how you can forgive me, but I know you have. Thank you for the Blood. Thank you for Jesus who died for me upon Calvary’s cross.  Hide me behind your cross.  I deserve no glory for what I have done.  You deserve all the glory of all things done.  Help the one who needs this message.  Help them to find it and use it for your glory.  Help them to know the love of God in their lives.  Help them to overcome the devil.  Help us to love more. Help us to have more faith.  Help our faith to grow in you.  Bless everyone who reads this message according to your wonderful will.  Thank you LORD. Thank YOU!  Thank you for the Only Begotten Son of God.  It is in his name, Jesus Christ I do pray. AMEN!

Part 5: For God so Loved the World

John 3:15-21 (KJV) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

What is the condemnation mentioned earlier? That the light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, les his deeds should be reproved.  Be he that does truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be manifest, that they are wrought in God.

This light is the LORD Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ is the perfect righteousness of God. There is no fault in him. Jesus is the light and the church is the reflection of this light.  The Sun puts out light upon the moon and reflects it to the world.  The Son puts out light upon the church and reflects to the world.  The sun is a type of the Son.  The moon is type of the church and the world is type of this evil system we deal with every day of our lives.

We love darkness. We love the flesh.  We want what we want to have according to what our wills and our hearts want according to the flesh. This is the condition of man. Every man has fleshly desires when away from the light.

When we do wrong we don’t like the light. It hurt us. We run from it. Evil deeds lead to more evil deeds.  Our sins deepen. We fight reproof more and more.  Pretty soon we are not just avoiding church we avoid Christians or anyone who brings up the name Jesus.  We turn to friend like us.  Soon we are far away from the light.

If we turn to God and the light, God will clean us up and we will start to seek the light again. God doesn’t like us to get dirty.  He want clean so we can be in the light.

Judges 21:25 (KJV) In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

Judges 17:6 (KJV) In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

Proverbs 14:12 (KJV) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 12:15 (KJV) The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

Proverbs 16:25 (KJV) There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 30:12 (KJV) There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Romans 6:21 (KJV) What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

Galatians 6:3 (KJV) For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

Ephesians 5:6 (KJV) Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Isaiah 53:6 (KJV) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

God loves us.  God loves us.  God desires us.  God cleans us up.  God wants the best for our life. God has given the perfect sacrifice.  His name is Jesus Christ.

Last time, I talked about Noah and the flood.  I showed you God love in the flood.  How God watched over us and Noah.  This time I want to show you God love in Genesis 11.

Genesis 11:1-9 (KJV) And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. 4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. 8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

The people of the earth got together and decided they knew what was best for them.  They built a city and tower to hold them together.  They pounded their chest and said LOOK at what we’ve done. They bragged on Man and his accomplishments. They turned from God to new God called Man. Because man is wicked in his heart evil abounded.  Making man into a god is idolatry.  This invites the devil to come in and take over.  The devil never misses a chance to mess with us.  Idolatry opens that door.

This grieved the LORD God who loves us and wants our fellowship. God out of love for his children confused the languages. God scattered the people out of love so sin would not pollute and destroy our lives.  God always acts in our lives out of his capacity to love us. He punishes us when we need to be punished.  He blesses our needs.  He leads us away from sin.  God lead the people of the earth away from sin again.

If you will open your heart to God he will lead you away from sin out of the love of his heart. He did for the earth in Noah’s day and his took care of Babel for the same reason.  God will only let sin go so far, and then he will step in and take care it.  Sometimes, he takes people home to get them out of their sins.  Sometimes he takes us out of situations to get us out of the sin.  Sometimes he changes our lives to get us out of sin.

God loves us and he wants us to prosper. God loves us and he desires the best for us.   God loves us and he give us things.  God knows us and what is best for us.  God directs our paths in ways we cannot see or comprehend.

Father God,
Thank you for loving me.  Thank you LORD for a wonderful thanksgiving.  Thank you LORD for giving me a chance to thank you. Father God, help us to run to the light and not away from the light.  Help us to run from sin and to the light.  Increase our faith.  Help us to love more in our lives.  Help us to see your will for our lives.  Help those who are suffering.  Help those who are in need.  Help those who are helping others.  Help us to have OLD Time Revival. Bring revival to Washington.  Give our leaders Godly wisdom. Help us to do better. Thank you for your many blessings. Forgive my sins and show them to me. Forgive my mistakes and help them to heal. Help our homes to heal. Help our churches to heal. Help our schools to heal.  Help our communities to heal.  Help us to see you will for our lives. Forgive the blackness of my heart. Forgive the awfulness of my soul. Wipe away my dirty stains. Help me to be more careful with others.   In Jesus Name Amen.

Part 4: For God So LOVED the WORLD that HE GAVE his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON . . .

John 3:15-18 (KJV) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

God love us even on this day of thanksgiving.  God love you so much he gave his Son, Jesus Christ so that you would not have to perish in the flames of Hell.  Jesus was sent into the world NOT to condemn the world, but that every one of you might be saved and born again.  Believer because you have believed and placed your faith in him, God has not condemned you.  He doesn’t want to condemn you, but because of justice, God must condemn those who have NOT believed in the only begotten Son of God.

Have you notice how many times these verses contain references to the only begotten Son? It says believeth in him three times.  Through him and his Son is in verse 17.  Only begotten Son is in verse 16 and 18. Four times God uses the word believeth, world is mentioned three times and so is condemned along with perish.  Eternal and everlasting life is mentioned twice in verse 15 and 16.  What a juicy piece of the word! I doubt a man could write such a piece of spiritual stuff. It must be of the LORD God. WOW!

I wanted to turn back to the book of Genesis and show you the love of God again.  God shows his love over and over again throughout the Bible.  There was great evil that come upon the earth in the days of Noah.  God out of justice planned on destroying the entire earth and its population. God in his mercy gave wicked man 120 years to repent of his evil ways.  Noah preached the gospel of righteousness to them for 120 years.  They chose evil and God chose to destroy them.  Very bad situation, right?

Genesis 6:1-8 (KJV) And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD God.  God showed Noah and his whole family mercy by saving them out of the flood. Now, you may ask what this has to do with you? If Noah and his family had died in the flood, there would be no you and me.  God saved us out of the flood, too.  God took care of us.  God also saved the promise of the coming of Jesus Christ and line that would bring us a Savior so that we could be saved.  God saved Abraham and Moses with the Ark, too.  No ark no Bible.  No ark, no Savior.  No ark, no Israel. No ark, no church.  No ark, no Jesus.

Hebrews 11:7 (KJV) By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

2 Peter 2:5 (KJV) And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

God help Noah build that ark while people made fun of him and his family. It never had rained until the time of the flood.  What’s rain? It’s never rained before?  Why do think it will rain now, it never has? God put animals on the ark for us.  God put Noah on the ark for us.  Can you see how God loved us even in dark days of the Noah and the flood? God has never forsaken us.  God has always been there for us, even when we were not here.

Genesis 7:1-5 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. 2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. 3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. 4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. 5 And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

God told them to come into the ark. God would close the door for them.

Genesis 7:15-16 (KJV) And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. 16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

Noah didn’t even have to shut the door. God did it for him.  God looked after Noah and God will look after you.  God can see our future and know our past.  God knows what is in our hearts and minds and God will deal with it according to his infinite wisdom.

You have much to be thankful for in on this day.  Thank God for the little things.  Thank God watching over you.  Thank God for the many blessing you have had.  Thank God for your memories.  Thank God for your past.  Thank God for the life he has given you.  Thank him for your salvation.  If you can’t thank him for your salvation, then you might need to get saved.

Father God,
Thank you for my past.  Thank you for the lessons you have taught me.  Thank you for the time you watched over me before I was even here.  Thank you for the Bible.  Thank you for the Cross. Thank you for your Salvation in my life.  Thank you for saving me.  Help the one who needs this message to find it.  Bless this Thanksgiving Day according to your will.  Help those who have no thanksgiving to have one.  Help those who are in need.  Help those who are hurting.  Help those who are weak in the flesh.  Help those who are down and lift up their spirits today.  Help us to thank him even in our troubles.  Help us where our flesh is weak. Help us where our hearts are weak.  Help us where our spirits are weak. Help us when the devil attacks.  Help us with our doubts.  Help us with our love. Increase over love.  Increase our faith, OH LORD! Thank you for the Blood that saved my soul.  In Jesus Name. Amen!

Part 3: For God LOVED the World…

John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Many can quote this verse and it is the only verse they can quote, but have you ever stopped to realize what this verse tells us? Perhaps this should have been the first message in this series, but here it is now. There is a lot of meaning in this verse of the Bible. I hope this finds the person who needs it.

For God so loved the world.  God loves the world.  Not the sin. Not the pain.  Not the suffering.  God loves the entire population of planet earth. God loved you in eternity past before there was even a world in this universe.  God loves us and want us to be saved according to his Bible.  Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners of whom I am chief.  Jesus came to seek and save the lost.  Jesus Christ came to see that you are born again.  Jesus Christ gave his life before the foundation of this earth to see us in heaven with him.  Jesus Christ first loved us before we were ever born.

1 Timothy 1:15 (KJV) This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Luke 19:10 (KJV) For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

1 Peter 1:19-21 (KJV) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

The Father gave his only begotten Son. God called his Son Emmanuel-God with us! He was born of Virgin and made flesh.  Mary was an ordinary woman.  Mary was sinner just like every person has a chance to be. Mary had son without the help of man.  Mary had a child by the Holy Ghost of God.  Jesus Christ was the son of Mary and the Son of God.  Jesus Christ is born of the flesh and fully God.  I don’t understand the mystery of how God and man can be in the flesh, but I know it happened.

Matthew 1:23 (KJV) Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Luke 1:34-35 (KJV) Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Luke 2:11 (KJV) For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Luke 2:33 (KJV) And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

Luke 2:14 (KJV) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

 

John 1:1-3 (KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

John 1:14 (KJV) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish. Whosoever means everybody on this earth has a chance to be saved.  That is me, you, and everyone else on the planet has that chance. Not just a few. Jesus does not want us to perish.  Jesus does not want you go to hell.  He gives us the means to accept him. Jesus loves you and he does not want you to perish.  He gave his life for your life.  He suffered the same to keep you from being everlastingly punished.

Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

2 Peter 3:9 (KJV) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

John 3:17-18 (KJV) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

1 John 5:10-12 (KJV) He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Mark 16:16 (KJV) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

But have everlasting life. God loves us enough to give us a chance at everlasting life.  If God can’t keep you he is powerful enough to save you.  God wants to give you a gift of eternal life.  God gave us this gift out of his love for us.

John 3:36 (KJV) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 5:24 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

1 John 5:13 (KJV) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Why can I have eternal life and not lose my salvation.  God promised it to me and to you.  I can’t do just anything I want to do.  God whips me when I do wrong like a loving father.  I don’t like to be whipped but sometimes even I need it.

Hebrews 12:5-11 (KJV) And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Sometimes it really hurt to be corrected by the LORD, but there is a time when that correct turns to joy.  If we submit to the correction then we can bear peaceable fruit later.  How many of us remember a peach tree switch or a belt that sounded like a helicopter?  God is much better at correcting us than our early fathers and parents.

The LORD God loves us enough to send us his Son to die for us.  The LORD God loves us enough to allow all to be saved.  The LORD God loves us and want us to have eternal everlasting life.  The LORD God loves us and will correct us where we are wrong.  I’ve learned I need to listen to that small voice that whispers to me.  I’ve learned to listen to the pricks when my heart and the Spirit convicts me.  I’ve learned to seek God’s forgiveness when I do wrong.  I don’t lose my salvation every time I sin, but I lose my fellowship with God.  I don’t whippings. I don’t think you do either, but sometimes it is better for us.

God loves us so much!  Thank the LORD God if you are saved.  If you are not saved, you need to seek his mercy and his grace.  Ask the LORD to tell you if you are really saved and he will tell you.  If the LORD does not give you that confidence what harm will it do to ask him to show us the way to do his will in our lives?  Ask the LORD to show you what you need to do in your life to please him.  If you will seek him and seek him, God will surely answer you.

Father God,
I thank you for the blessings you have given me.  I thank you for your truth. I thank you for letting me go to church tonight.  I thank you for saving my soul and keeping me saved.  Thank you for the fruits in my life and walk before you.  Thank you for the physical gifts you have given me. Thank you for helping me with the many prayer that are being offered up for me.  Thank you for keeping the devil out of my life.  Thank you LORD for the precious friends I have.  Thank you for the new friends you have given me.  Help us to realize how much you love us.  Show us the love of God upon our hearts, our homes and our churches.  Bless everyone according to your will for their lives.  Thank you for Jesus Christ. Thank you for giving me what I did not deserve. Thank you for giving me what you have promised me.  Thank you for the righteousness of God upon my filthy rags.  Thank you for the churches, the teachings, the Bible and the brethren you have shared with me this year.  I am not fit to go to heaven. I am don’t deserve the blessings you give me.  I do not deserve the friends I have.  I do not deserve the gifts I’ve received.  Bless all thanksgiving services tomorrow according to your will. Part 2: For God So LOVED the World that He GAVE his ONLY Begotten Son . . . In the Image of God

John 3:15-18 (KJV) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Did you know God loves you so much that he want you to live forever? Goes does not want you to perish that is the reason God has made eternal life available to every man, woman and child who has ever lived.  The devil wants to kill you. Which one do you think love you?  I CHOOSE God.  I’d like to return to Genesis to show you some more of how much God loves you.   You want to be loved.  God loves you. Yes, God loves you.

In Genesis 1, God loved you enough to make you in the image of God after the likeness of God and gave man dominion over the earth and all the creatures upon the earth.  God created man in his own image.  God crated them in his own likeness.  God made them male and female so we could loved, both man and woman! I can image Adam’s excitement when God showed Eve to him. He must have shouted, WO- MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you think he got excited? Excitement breeds excitement. Do think Eve was excited, too? God has given us a wonderful institution called marriage.  It is the basis of families and family life.  If you have such a family, you should thank the LORD God for your family and praise his dear name!

Genesis 1:26-27 (KJV) And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Remember Jesus, he is a man, too.  When God created man he created the ancestors of Jesus Christ.  In Jesus is our perfect salvation for sin.  When God created man, he was already working on creating a Savior for all of us.  The story continues in Genesis 5.  In the day God created man, in the likeness of God made him.  Adam was created in the image of the LIVING God. We are not an animal.  You ought to thank God you are not an animal and be ready to jump up and down because you are not an animal. You may have warts. You may have runny noise.  You may have black lungs. You are created in the image of the LIVING God.  You are not an ANIMAL!  No monkey who ever lived has been related to you, but the way some of us are acting I have to wonder sometimes.

Genesis 5:1-3 (KJV) This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; 2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. 3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

Notice in 5, God crated male and female.  Surely this is not a misprint in the Bible.  God states it more than once. Sometime this is even taken to prove God is serious about something.  Maybe God didn’t want us forget we are created Man and Woman and not Adam and Steve or Ada and Eve. Notice in verse 3, Adam begat a son in his own image.  Adam’s image changed after the fall. It’s messed up a little.  Adam is not going to live to be 10,000 in the flesh. His heart is going to look after worldly and fleshly stuff.  His judgment is going to be off somewhat. His flesh is going to need food.  Adam going to depressed sometimes. Adam is going to make some mistakes, but his image still bears a striking likeness to the LORD Jesus Christ.

Genesis 9:1-6 (KJV) And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. 3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. 4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. 5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. 6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Even after the flood God tells us he made us in the image of God and he warned us to not shed it blood because he made us in the image of God.  Shouldn’t we take more care of our bodies?  Should we have more respect for this shell God has given us?

We like to put art work all over this image of God.  We like to put holes in this image of God.  We like put all kinds of food into this image of God, he gave us.  We like put all kinds of things into our mouth, and we are made in the image of God.  God loved us enough to make us like him. We can walk. We can talk.  We can think.  We can imagine.  We can love.  We can believe.  We can cry.  We can crawl.  We can dream.  We can make choices.  We can hate.  We can have things.  We can make things.  God gave us everything we can do and we are.  Should we be grateful for what love he has shown us and given us?  Is not precious what God has done for us?  He gave a body.  He gave us a Savior.  He gave us life.  He gave mercy.  He gave us time.  Don’t we take time to treasure what our loving God has given us.

God loves us. God loves you.  Will you take the time to return his love for you?  Do you care that God loves you?   Will you love God who first loved you?  I love you so much that I am crying right now for you.  Oh, really.  I ask the LORD God to have pity upon you and help you this day.  Did you there are tears burning down my throat right now.  You need to get right before God and be thankful to him for the things he has done for you and given you all your life this season.

Father God,
Thank you for the tears.  Thank you for the LOVE.  Thank you for the Blessing.  Thank you for the Cross.   Thank you for the Bible.  Thank you for the Savior.  Thank you LORD for family.  Thank you LORD for friends.   Thank you LORD for Jesus.  Help us this season of Thanksgiving to give you what you deserve LORD.  Help us to remember the things you have done.   Bless each and every one according to the will the one who sits upon the throne of Heaven.  For Jesus sake and in his precious name. Amen.

For God So LOVED the World That He Gave His ONLY Begotten Son . . .

John 3:15-18 (KJV) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

This one of the most wonderful passages in the whole of the Bible.  What’s so wonderful about this passage?  God so loved the world that he gave us his son the LORD Jesus Christ.  Isn’t that something wonderful?  Should we feel something as we ponder upon the well-known saying from the Bible?

1 John 4:19 (KJV) We love him, because he first loved us. 

LOOK! It is this simple. Jesus first loved us – that is you and me.   He loves us!  God loves us.  God gave us a capacity to love and we need to develop that love he puts in our hearts.  If we don’t develop it, then it never grows.  Love does not just happen.  Love takes time to grow.

Not long ago, a preacher came preached something for us and he went into explaining this to us.  Now I didn’t fall off the turnip truck last week.  I knew something about is a long time ago, but he made me look deeper into myself. This young man went into a story about how at church camp he had to make himself go back and round up the stray young man who did fit into the main group.  This young man was about 6 or 7 years old.  He was different.  He didn’t fit in with the crowd. He was special.  He probably was bright as the other kids and sometimes he took longer to blend into the group.  What man of God shows us, is that he had to make himself go back and hunt this kid up and work with him and show him some things – show that he cared around him. Doing simple stuff and asking him what seemed like to him silly questions about things in kid’s life. Sometimes he help him put his shoes on.  Sometimes he ate meals with him.  Sometimes he helped him make his bed.  Sometimes he helped him pack his bag. Sometimes he played a game with him, when no one else would.  Sometimes you have work at loving someone when they are down.  Sometimes you have do something for someone who does not catch on at first.  Sometimes you need to help someone who can’t help themselves.  Sometimes you need to feel for someone who can’t do for themselves.  Sometimes you need to watch out for someone who can’t. Is that so hard for someone to see?

Did you know that God has been watching out for you for a very long time?  You see, God started out loving us when he loved Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  Yea, we were there.  We were a barely a twinkle in the eyes yet.  You see Cain and Abel hadn’t been born yet so how do you think they thought of us?  Yet, they are our parents after a fashion aren’t they? What the devil I am talking about? Let’s take a look.  The first thing here, is God cared enough to hunt Adam and Eve up after they messed up.  Haven’t you ever hunted up your little ones after they messed up?  God hunted them up.  Like little children Adam and Eve made excuses. They pointed figures. You made me mess up!

Genesis 3:9-21 (KJV) And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. 16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. 20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Like good father, God whipped his children, but that was not everything he did.  Look at verse 15.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

He put hard feeling between them and Satan, the devil.  We all know about hot stoves.  Well God made the devil hot like a fire to keep us from danger.  He put a contest between us and devil.  The devil hated us and he has already tried to destroy us with the forbidden fruit.  God wasn’t this contest. God was talking about his son right here in this passage.  Yes, Jesus Christ and his coming is first predicted here by God.  Devil you will bruise his heel, but my Son will bruise your head. You will put him on the cross, but my Son will rise again and in time my Son will bruise your head and send you to hell. God has provided for our salvation through his Son, Jesus Christ 4,000 years before a little infant came into world.  This was over 6,000 years ago, God planned on sending his Son.  Now I know Jesus’ coming was planned before the world was created, but here is evidence that God was thinking of you long ago.

In whipping man, God have him a means and way of providing food for him and his family.  He made man work the ground with the sweat of his own hands.  This was for man’s own good. For thy sake, I am doing this.  It’s in there.  God loved you a long time ago.  God limited our lives because of sin.  But our lives were not limited can you image what sins could do to this world and the people in it.  We see this with the pre-flood.  God didn’t stop there showing his love for Adam and Eve. In 21, God kill a lamb and made coats for Adam and Eve.  This kill of animal, I believe a lamb, foreshadows the coming of his Son.  It is a bloody sacrifice for the sins of Adam and Eve.

I’ve messed up a whole in my life, yet God has loved me through his Son.  God has bless me.  God has help me.  I am so thankful he has blessed me and help me.  God loves me.  God loves you.  God watches out for you.  God has worked throughout the pages of history to demonstrate his love for us.  God has sent his Son to die for us and his Son has rose again from the dead for our sakes.  Jesus is coming again for our sakes.  God loves us despite our sins against him.  God loves us even though we have hated him at times.  God loves us. God want us the best for us.

John 6:37 (KJV) All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

God wants us to come to him.  If the Father gives someone to his Son to come to him then the person who comes Jesus will in no wish cast out.  If Father sends a person, Jesus can NOT say no.  No matter what you have done, Jesus will accept you!  No man can go to Jesus unless the Father hath sent you to him.  God, the Father draws you.  If you can feel someone pulling on your heartstring right now, you are being draw by the Father God to his son.  If he is draw you, Jesus cannot refuse to take you.  There is no sin great enough to prevent you from accepting Jesus into your heart.

John 6:44 (KJV) No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jesus told us if he is lifted up from the earth, he will draw ALL MEN unto him. Did you get that?  God draws all men to him.  He’s calling you. He love you and wants the best for you.

John 12:32 (KJV) And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Don’t you that Jesus is on the right hand of the Father, right now making arguments with devil for you soul?  Jesus is sticking up for you right now.  Jesus loves you and wants the best for your life. Jesus wants to bless your life. Why don’t you let him?

Father God,
Thank you for blessing me.  Thank you for saving my soul.  Thank you for promising a Savior for me a long time ago.  Thank you LORD for looking out for me and helping me when I couldn’t help myself.  Thank you, Jesus for the long suffering mercy of the cross.  Thank you for the BLOOD of Mount Calvary.
Thank you for the promise you have made to me in your Bible.  Help us grow in our love for one another. Help us to understand one another.  Help us grow toward you and your ways.  Help us to love more and more.  Help us help those who can’t help themselves.  Help us to love the unfortunate and those suffering.  Help us love the poor children who are unloved.  Help us love them that need to know your love.  Help us to do better.  Help us cry from our hearts for the lost and dying of this world. Help love to abound in our hearts and our minds.  In time our love has grown cold.  Warm our hearts and fill our hearts with your love.  Help those who are headed for a devil’s hell to get saved today. Thank you, LORD for the Bible.  Thank you for your Son! Help our churches to grow closer to the LORD.  Help those who have lost love ones.  In Jesus Name I pray and for his sake.  Amen!

Where is the Devil?

Have you ever heard of the Doctrine of the Great Deep? It could be one of the deepest subjects in the whole Bible.  It is about as deep as I want to go. The reason I go there is for the purpose of explaining something.  In this case, it is where the devil may be before the throne of God.

Revelation 12:8-10 (KJV) And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

What about the great deep?  What does it have to do with the devil? First, let’s established what the great deep is and where it is.

Genesis 1:2 (KJV) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Notice the face of the deep in verse 2. The Bible refers to the deep several times. In Job 38:30 we learn that the deep is frozen and there are waters nearby.

Job 38:30 (KJV) The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

Job 26:5-10 (KJV) Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. 6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering. 7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. 8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them. 9 He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it. 10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.

In Job 26 we find the waters in verse 5.  God stretches out the north over the empty place and hangs the earth upon nothing.  The north is a reference to the throne of God. The waters are not rent under them, that is near the throne of God.  In 9, God holds back the face of his throne and spreads his cloud upon it.  The waters are bounded until day and night come to an end. That happens in eternity.  Told you was deep.  Let’s look at Psalms 148.

Psalms 148:1-4 (KJV) Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. 2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. 3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. 4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

In 148, we find you praise the Lord from the Heavens which are in the heights.  Sun is the type of the Son. The moon is type of the church which reflect the light of the Savior.  The stars are a type of the angels which are also first mentioned in this verse.  Do these types have anything to do with this doctrine? I am not sure.  Verse 4 is key here, there are heavens and there are three heavens to be exact.  There are waters about the heavens.  The first heaven is the atmosphere of the earth.  The second heaven is the sun and the stars.  The third heaven is the abode of God.  There is waters above the two heavens.  Notice the s on heavens.  Alright that’s the doctrine of the great deep from what I know.  I can give you approximates on this doctrine.  The Bible does not always give us everything.  Sometimes we need to walk by faith. Based on what we know I can say that the crystal sea before the throne may be the frozen top of the great deep.  In the great deep is water under the crystal sea that the throne of God rest upon.

What about the devil? How can he be near heaven and not defile heaven?  He’s in the Great Deep.  The Devil makes the deep to boil like a pot.  The Devil makes the sea like a pot of ointment. The Devil makes a pat to shine after him.  One would think the deep to be hoary. Hoary is used to refer to hair on elderly people who have gray hair.  Huh? God knows what he is doing. 

Job 41:31-32 (KJV) He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment. 32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.

How do I know it is the devil? Look at the rest of the passage in Job 41.   The leviathan lives forever. His skin is filled with barb irons. Hope in the devil is in vain and to see him is to be cast down into hell. The devil has claimed the whole heaven as his and this is reason he has been cast down. His scales are pride and this was the devil sin.  This is a type of the devil and the devil is in the great deep.

Job 41:1-32 (KJV) Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? 2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? 3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee? 4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever? 5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens? 6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants? 7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears? 8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more. 9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him? 10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me? 11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine. 12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion. 13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle? 14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about. 15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal. 16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them. 17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered. 18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. 19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out. 20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. 21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. 22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him. 23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved. 24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone. 25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves. 26 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon. 27 He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood. 28 The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble. 29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear. 30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire. 31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment. 32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.

Some of you wanted the scripture for how the devil could be near heaven.  These are the Bible verses.  I think there is a very good chance this doctrine is Bible truth.  This gives us reason to know where the devil is and make some sense out of it.

The devil is able to access the throne of God in the great deep where he accuses the brethren day and night.  When he does have time to go somewhere else he walking to and fro on the earth. Aren’t glad we have a mediator on the right hand of the throne of God?

I believe the devil is not permitted to enter Heaven proper around the throne of God, but he close enough he has an immediate audience with God where he accused the brethren. Revelation 21 and 22 shows that sins can NOT enter into heaven.  Here is your answer. It’s not as iron clad as some would it like to be, but it is in the Bible.  Know you know as much as I do about this subject. I am thankful that God has given it to me and given me others who have showed me this doctrine. I give praise and honor to the LORD God.  God’s glory belongs to him alone.

Why is My Television NOT the best place to Learn about the Bible?

2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We have become a people who trusts what we see with our eyes.  This is the natural and most comfortable way to get our information. Most people who appear on the television screen, give us man’s opinion and not the word of God.  Any place that talks about the Bible without using a lot of scripture is giving you man’s opinions. Recently the History Channel has taken to the air to discredit the Word of God and inject man’s opinions and philosophies.

Colossians 2:8 (KJV) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Colossians 2:18 (KJV) Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

1 Timothy 1:6 (KJV) From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

1 Timothy 6:20 (KJV) O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

2 Timothy 2:16 (KJV) But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Titus 1:10 (KJV) For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

Titus 3:9 (KJV) But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

The Bible is the place to learn doctrine.  The Bible is place to find good teachings. Any time someone starts out with millions of years or billions of years they are spinning a fairy tale.  Evolution is just a theory.  In fact, evolution is more a religion of the devil than #fact. Man is created in God’s image.  Man has voice and speech like God does.  Man has thinking processes like God does.  Man can see more like God than any other creature on the globe.  Man can have feelings like God does.  Man is a creature and man is NOT a God. Anyone with nose rings, rings in the tongue has long ago left any idea that God created them. A man with ear rings don’t believe he was created by Almighty God. You are better than that.  God created you for a reason and purpose.  It does not matter how pretty or handsome you are, you belong to God and you have a reason for being here.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 (KJV) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

We like to please our ears and our senses more than we like to look to the spiritual things of this world.  We are lost in material things of this world.  Yes, I live here, too and flashy stuff can turn my head.  We listen to what pleases the wife.  We let the children tell us what is right. We give a little today and tomorrow it is a little more. Then we added a little more and pretty soon it is a long way from where we started.

These new Bible have the same problem.  They are creeping away from the truth little by little.  They snip away at the doctrine, the blood, the sin, hell, the trinity, the resurrection and the deity of God. They cut away truths little by little.

I’ve studied Islam some.  I know little about the gods of Greece.  I’ve studied the Big Bang and evolution.  They are lies.  They don’t know the truth. Compromise is very bad.  Compromise can get us into great trouble if we don’t watch ourselves. Witchcraft and the occult is very wicked.  Spiritualism is witchcraft. The Bible warns us about familiar spirits.

Did you know that forbidden sexual acts are used to bring in the occult powers in Spiritualism? There are reasons to run from these kinds of teaching.  Most Spiritualists don’t live very long lives. Most rock and rollers die you.  If you use drugs, you won’t be living very long.  The devil will kill his own.  The devil wants to destroy you and everything or everyone you treasure.

We are to walk by faith and not by sight.  We are trust him.  The unseen things of this world are so much greater than what we can see.

Numbers 22:24-32 (KJV) But the angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side. 25 And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall: and he smote her again. 26 And the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left. 27 And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam’s anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff. 28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? 29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee. 30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay. 31 Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face. 32 And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me:

Balaam did not see angel.  Did you know about the talking donkey in the Bible? There is lot of unseen things out there. If we are not careful we will miss them.

God loves you. God wants you to have the very best in this life you can have.  God wants to bless you, but it has to be his way.  God has done an awfully lot to see you go to heaven.  He can’t make such a choice for you. Only you can make that choice.  I had to leave a lot of things behind in this world when I choose to seek the deeper things of God.  I wanted to make that choice. Where are you at? What are you willing to do?

LORD,
Help us follow you will.  Bless the service tomorrow at our churches.  Help us to worship you.  Help us to love you.  Bring us closer to you.  Help Old Time Revival to break out in our churches.  Help souls to be saved and encouraged in the LORD.  Help us to sing for the Glory of God. Help us to filled with the HOLY GHOST.  Tie the devil up and keep him out of our homes, our churches and our schools.  Bring revival to Washington, DC.  Give the President the Wisdom of God to lead us with.  Help him to follow the will of God for our nation.  Help the children to be loved.  Help our families to be strong in the LORD.  Thank for your mercy and grace. Thank you for loving us.  Help those who are working with the work.  Help the bus drives their routes.  Help bless those who are working in the churches.  Help Old Time Revival to break out in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. Bless the preaching and fill those preaching with the fire and the power of God on their message.   Anoint them to preach the word strong and powerful. Fill them with the unction to preach your truths according to your way, LORD. Heal our land.  Heal the brokenness of this world.  Help the flood victims to get back to a normal life. Above all, help us to give you the glory, honor and place you should have. Hide us behind the cross and put Jesus front and center in all that we do and say.  Help us to give you the credit where it should be given. All glory to you, LORD IN Jesus Name I pray, Amen!

What about the Dogs?

This passage contains a lot of meaning, yet it is skipped because so many do not understand it. I was looking for something else and I came across it and the LORD opened it to me.   Would you like to see the deeper meanings in this story.

A Greek woman came in need of Jesus’ help.  She is a Syrophenician. She is Gentile and of Phoenician blood in Syria. This woman is little lower than Samaritans of Hebrew and Babylonia blood. She does not have one drop of Jewish blood in her body.  Her daughter has a demon in her who she asks Jesus to cast out.

What does Jesus tell her?  Let the children be filled first.  It is not meet to take the children’s bread.  His primary focus is the Jews at this time.  That is the target of his message.  His message and miracles are for the Jews. His message was not to be cast to the dogs who did not know anything about God people and their truth. Jesus is picking at her. He knows her heart. He knows that the Jews have called her people dogs and she knows it, too.   Here is perfect opportunity for her to bow up and spit in his face for calling her and her people a dog. Like so many of us this was her time to stomp off and turn on her heal and blame him for everything that wrong in the world. That’s what makes her response so remarkablely incredible. Yes, LORD! Yet we Gentile dogs under the Jew’s table will eat the scraps and believe. She accepted this insult of the Jews and still believed him. He was ready to cast her request to the side, but she stood her ground and put his question back toward him. She stood on her faith and questioned God without doubting him. How many times have we had such a chance and didn’t rise to the task at hand?

Mark 7:25-30 (KJV) For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet: 26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. 27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. 28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs. 29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. 30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

Jesus is impressed with her response.  Jesus cast the demon out of her daughter and rewards her for her faith and standing her ground.  She went home and found out he had done just exactly what he had promise to do for her.  I don’t you, but this is one power packed passage of Bible to me.

The Time of the End and the Rapture

This passage of the Bible is among the most debated of all the scriptures.  It speaks of the time and circumstances of the return of the LORD Jesus Christ. Since the earliest days of the church there has been rumors of wars and wars, starvation, plagues, natural disasters, earthquakes and all sorts of troubles.  Jesus called these the beginning of sorrows. I believe this is where the world is right now and it’s been that way for many years.  There is much hate in this world and it’s getting worse and worse.

 

Matthew 24:4-44 (KJV) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

This is definitely the conditions of the world right now.  Iniquity shall abound. Iniquity is abounding more and more as each day passes.  For many love has grown very cold.  We are killing babies.  We are beating up mothers.  We are hating each other with recklessness. Children are being told they are animals. Men are sleeping with men and women are sleeping with women. If you object to this kind of sin, then you are branded as the outlaw.

There are many out there spreading the gospel and it is quickly going to the ends of the earth.  I don’t know when God mercy will run out, but there are still souls being saved.  Not soul will be saved before the rapture comes.  Many souls will be saved in the Tribulation. The follow scripture is NOT a rapture passage. Look at the context.  The abomination of the desolate comes at Mid-Tribulation or 3 ½ years in the seventieth week spoken of by Daniel in chapter 9 which is seven years long. This is where the Anti-Christ comes into the temple and does abominations in the Holy of the Holies. Right after this is something called the Great Tribulation. The Great Tribulation is a time of God’s wrath and is 3 ½ years long.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

There is coming things in the great tribulation that has never happened on this earth. The Bible speaks of one fourth of the population dying at one time several times during this time. Fire, Hail, quakes, starvation, plagues and a lot of other stuff I sure don’t want anyone to have to go through. It will be very very bad for anyone left here. By this time, Jesus has taken the church out and they will not have to endure the seven years.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

This passage speaks of the second coming of Jesus Christ.  This is NOT the rapture.  This time Jesus will come back to rule and reign with a rod of iron. Many will be shocked when he does come.  Notice in 28 it says immediately after the tribulation.  That’s when Jesus will come back to rule and reign.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The angels will gather those saved in the tribulation from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Those who saved will join those, who went up in the rapture, when they return from heaven.  Beginning in 32 Jesus begins to speak of the events before and including the rapture of the church age saints.  The fig tree is Israel. In the last days, God revives Israel to a nation again.  No other nation on earth has a history like Israel. When Israel is reborn time is very short.  The end of the church age is here! This generation shall NOT pass till all these things be fulfilled. In the lifetime of those born when Israel was reborn will not die until Jesus takes the saints out in the rapture. It’s been 65 years since Israel was re-established. It’s getting very late.  Jesus warned us that no one would know the day or the hour Jesus would come back for the saints. Not even the angels. Jesus said it would be a time where people would scoff at God and his truth.  It would time when people didn’t care about his coming.  It would be time much like the flood of Noah. One will be taken and another will not be taken.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Jesus charges us we do not know what hour our LORD comes.  He will come as thief in the night.  We need to be ready for his coming. The world will be so shocked when it does happen, this world will face such a mess unlike anything that has happened before now. It will happen in a twinkling of an eye.  Most of us will be so busy with something else and suddenly he will call us up. Many of us are asleep.  Many of us are not prepared.

1 Corinthians 15:51-55 (KJV) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (KJV) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

At this trump, believers shall all be changed in the twinkling of eyes.  First, the dead in Christ from the church age shall be changed and then those who are still alive at the rapture will be changed.  This is when we get our new bodies. This is one reason why we look so much for the rapture.

What is this trump of God? The Bible shows us what the trump of God is.  Maybe this is chance to clear up some of the issues on the timing of the rapture.

Revelation 1:10-17 (KJV) I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

Revelation 4:1-2 (KJV) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

I believe the trump of God is the voice of God. I believe the trump of God is the voice of the LORD Jesus Christ.  We can see Jesus speaking in Revelation chapter 1. In his glorious nature, Jesus has voice like a trumpet. It is loud like thunder. It is the voice of God.  In 1 Thessalonians 4:16, the LORD Jesus Christ is to descend with a shout. He is to have a voice like angel.  In the Old Testament he was often referred to as the Angel of the LORD. The Angel of the LORD was God Almighty.

I want you to see that in Revelation 4, Jesus has just finished talking about the churches and the church age and in 4^th chapter, the church is not mentioned again until after Jesus comes back in Revelation 22.  The church is never mentioned in the Tribulation. It has been removed. I believe that in Rev. 4:1 is a picture or type of the rapture and as Jesus called John up to Heaven, Jesus will call us up to heaven with the words, “Come up, hither.”  This is another indication that the rapture will take place before the Tribulation.

I hope this will help your view of heaven and helps you to get ready for the Rapture. Not everyone agrees on this subject.  This view has been held by Baptists for almost 2000 years.  Novicans, Waldesians, Paulicans, Anabaptists, Baptists, Brethren, Congregationalists, Presbyterians and others have stood for this belief since the time of Jesus Christ and the first church. The Catholics and their friends have tried to keep this from you for hundreds of years. I want you to know the truth. So many bow up these days to Jesus Christ.  Why don’t we thank someone today for sharing Jesus with us instead?  Why don’t we get mad at someone because they didn’t tell us about Jesus Christ and what he did for us, instead of shutting believers down who are trying to tell us the truth?  I wish you to have a blessed day, wonderful Thanksgiving and an awesome Christmas.

Father God, Heavenly Father, Almighty God!
Thank you for the promise of Heaven and the blessing waiting there for us. Thank you for sharing your words with us.  Father bless our churches and help us to have revival in them.  Lord, build a revival in me and change me to be more like your son Jesus Christ.  LORD, keep the devil out of our churches and help us to work together in the Spirit of Love you have given. Help those who are sick and need healing. Heal our bodies from our hurts. Help us with our troubles. Heal our families. Protect our babies.  Put a hedge around us and protect us from this evil world. Help us to have a blessed Thanksgiving and a Blessed Christmas. Thank you for my Salvation. Thank you for the Bible. Thank you for our churches.   Thank you for loving us enough to die for us. Should I Give Glory to the LORD God?

This is something the LORD laid upon my heart a few days ago. It is very strong medicine.  Chapter 2 of Malachi is very strong stuff.  I’m just giving you one verse. I believe we should give glory, honor and praise the LORD God.  This generation has become, look what I did. This generation has become ME, ME, ME!  We don’t want to hear about God.  WE don’t want to listen to God. We don’t want to believe God is real.  We want to cast God into our own image for our own schemes, designs and pleasures.  You can turn me off, I am just a simple man and weaker than almost anyone else alive, but I’ll bet my life that you can NOT turn off the LIVING God.

Malachi 2:2 (KJV) If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

If you will not hear and if you will not lay it to heart.  That’s what it says. To do what? #FACT TO GIVE #GLORY UNTO MY #NAME. God should be number one.  Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness Matthew 6:31.  Not far from there is the encouragement to lay up you treasure in heaven where moth and rust will not get to it.   I like money. It does things for me.  It helps me pay my bills.  The root of all evil is money according to the BIBLE.  Who said to give glory to his name? The LORD of HOSTS! I don’t like what he says next, but it applies as much to me as it does to you. I will curse your blessings, yes, he has already cursed your blessings and he tell you why God did it.  Because you do no lay it to heart!  YOU do not care if the LORD God receives his glory. Few people in this world fear God anymore. We don’t FEAR God! He’s NOT in our hearts. If He glory to God for you. You never hear his name in public places anymore.  I can buy a lottery ticket almost anywhere, but to hear someone brag on God is like a curse word these days.  Sure a lot people believe there is a God in the Bible Belt, but if you go outside this area will you hear the praise of God?  I think NOT.  What a shame. I love this UNITED STATES of America, but I’m almost embarrassed to call myself an American anymore. Drugs, Pot, Booze, Sex is everywhere.  Everyone has excuses.  Everyone pays some sort of lip service to God, but is God really in their hearts?

This is strong medicine for me.  This is strong medicine in this one single verse of text.  God is long suffering in his mercy.  His mercy is getting shorter and shorter every day. The clouds over America are getting darker and darker. Can you even find your Bible?  How much dust is on it?  When is the last time you went to church? When is the last time you talked to someone about Jesus? Do you even know what a tract looks like? Can you quote even one verse of the Bible?  Is it more than Jesus wept? Do you know the Bible speaks of tears and crying? It’s even mentioned in this chapter of Malachi.  In Mark, the Bible speaks of Jesus and his compassion twice for the masses.  Do you realize that Jesus prayed for you in John 17? Do really accept the idea and the concept that Jesus loves you. Jesus loves you. Jesus wants the best for you.  Jesus died for you.  Jesus gave his life for you. Jesus Christ suffered for you.  Jesus Christ has prayed for you. Jesus Christ is sitting upon the right hand of the Father, praying for you and helping you to pray right now.  Jesus Christ even performs miracles today in lives and homes. Do realize that when get to help someone with the gospel, I get so excited I can’t hardly contain myself.  I get crazy with joy to help someone.  Helping someone is the best thing I’ve ever done in all my life. I’m not making that up.  I want to do it so bad I can taste, but you don’t want to hear me.  I’m telling you there is nothing better than knowing Jesus Christ and the JOYS he give to my heart. You can reject me, but if you reject him, you have missed out on something wonderful.

God deserves the GLORY.  God deserves the CREDIT.  God Matter in this life.  God should be at the center of our life and our witness.  God should be at center of our communities.  God should be at the center of our homes.  I have bills. You have bills.  Your life needs help. My life needs help. Until we get right with Jesus Christ, then we should never expect him to fix things for us. Will you turn to him, today?

Father God,

Help me to love you more and more.  Help me to do what need to do. Help my body to ready to go in the morning. Help us to love you with all our hearts, our souls and our minds.  Help us to see what you have prepared for us.  Help us to do your will.  Help them that need you so much.  Help them to trust in you. HELP me to fear God. Help America to FEAR God. Help us to fear YOU, LORD! GLORY to YOUR NAME! GLORY to the name of God.  Glory to the LORD Jesus Christ.  Glory to God for saving a wretch like me.  Glory to God for the things he has given us. Glory to Glory for the Mercy he has shown us.  Glory to the ONE who deserves it so much more than I do.  Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Have you ever Heard the Story of Henry Moorhouse?

Henry Moorhouse as born in Ardwick, Manchester, England in 1840 in one the most poorest surround a person could come into this world. Ardwick was small village that became hug of the industrial revolution before it collapsed into one of most depraved and nasty places. As a young boy, Henry found himself a frequent visitor at the local jail. By the age of 16, Henry was gambler and gang leader wild and out of control. Henry enlisted in the army to get some control over his life.  Soon his father came at a considerable sum bought him out of the military. Henry found himself on the streets and carrying a gun.  The purpose of that gun was take his own life. This was the condition he was when came across an event in Alhambra Circus in Manchester.  There was loud racket going on inside and Henry’s mind quickly leaped to the idea that big fight was going on inside. I would expect Henry heard of shouting and cheering.  Excited Henry buttoned his coat and rushed in to get into the action.  What he found was Richard Weaver preaching the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ. Almost instantly Henry heard the name “Jesus” and God got a hold on Henry Moorhouse, failed gang leader and gambler. Henry left that meeting a changed man and with Jesus Christ in his heart.

Immediately, Henry began to preach in open air meetings, handing out tracts, and talking to individuals about Jesus Christ. It was an amazing turn around for this troubled young man. He began to work alongside with such men as Reginald Radcliffe, John Hambleton, and Richard Weaver.  They preached in open air meetings, races, theaters, and public executions the gospel to the lost. Soon Henry Moorhouse came into contact with Dwight L. Moody. Moody was very impressed with the young man. Henry was thin, sickly and not in very good health, but Moody was impressed with his enthusiasm.  Moody invited him to come preach at his church sometime if ever came to America.

In 1868, Henry contacted Moody to let him know he was going to be in America and he was ready to preach.  Moody reluctantly agreed and told his deacons to expect this young man while Moody left town for another appointment.  So at Farwell Hall in Chicago, young Henry Moorhouse preached for Moody’s church. Henry’s text was John 3:16-18 where he preached on the LOVE of God.  To the shock of Moody when he returned to Chicago, he found Henry still preaching a few days later.  Henry would preach from that same text for a whole week as the crowds got larger and larger.  They loved his preaching.  They loved it as he open the Bible and preached the love of God from cover to cover.  Most preachers have heard of Henry Moorhouse and his preaching at Chicago, but they could not tell you beans about the rest of his life.  This story is not over.  This week changed the life of Dwight Lyman Moody and his preaching for the rest of his life. Moody was greatly impressed by the number of souls that came to know Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior. Until then Moody had always prepared his messages on several loosely connect verses and detached thoughts from the Bible.

During this time, young Henry challenged Moody, You are sailing on the wrong tack. If you will change your course, and learn to preach God’s words instead of your own, He will make you a great power. The Holy Ghost gave Moody no rest until Moody now saw more clearly than ever that he needed to preach Scripture-based messages.  A funny happened to Moody just 3 years later.  Two small little ladies started praying for Mood to filled with Holy Spirit.   In New York Moody tells of being filled with the Holy Spirit. His sermons changed again.  Many times after that Moody was asked to preach on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  Many souls were saved as result of this visit of God upon Moody.  You have to wonder if there is any connection between this filling and the preaching of Henry Moorhouse?

How did Moody react to Henry’s messages? Listen to how Moody explained it himself:

I never knew up to that time that God loved us so much. This heart of mine began to thaw out; I could not keep back the tears. I just drank it in. So did the crowded congregation. I tell you there is one thing that draws above everything else in the world and that is love.

Henry would leave Chicago and continue preaching the gospel to many souls.  In 1872, Henry came back to Chicago and preached again for Moody with my guess with powerful results.

Henry would sell 150,000 Bibles and give away millions of books.  Henry was never well in his life and at the age of 40 in 1880, Henry Moorhouse died.  Henry is buried Manchester, England not far from the man who lead him to Jesus Richard Weaver. I was able to discover that Henry Moorhouse was of the Plymouth Brethren. Remember George Muller? John Nelson Darby?

Richard Weaver was born in 1827. Richard was lead to the Lord by Charles Hadden Spurgeon. Richard’s story is another incredible tale of souls saved and blessed by the LORD God as he preached all over England.

You think your life does NOT matter much.  Henry Moorhouse didn’t live very long.  Henry Moorhouse was sick most of his life.  Henry began his life in whole lot of trouble.  Henry became a gambler and he led a gang in area where industry had failed and the area collapsed into ruin. Henry had a lot of things against him, but God saved him and changed his life.  Henry made a huge difference for the Kingdom.  Can God use you?  Yes he can! Will you give God that chance?

Thank you for this wonderful story.  Thank you for Henry Moorhouse.  Help me to get more out of this story. Help me tell this story to someone else.  Help someone to find this story who needs it.  LORD, please change their lives.  Help the services tonight and help someone to get saved.  Thank You, LORD! What this in Jeremiah: Can God Inspire and Preserve His Word?

Why am I bring up Jeremiah? What could be so important about what this teaching? I want to show you something about the word of God that was shown to me.  Jeremiah was told to write things down with a pen and ink in Jeremiah 36.  Notice that this passage is about the word of God as written by the Prophet Jeremiah.  God told Jeremiah to write the word of God in a book.  These word are the words recorded in the book of Jeremiah. I am trying to help you if you will let me.

Please notice what the King did with the words God inspired Jeremiah to write down for the Bible.  The King cut these inspired words with a penknife and cast it into the fire and the roll of this sacred text was consumed in the fire.  It was burned up and gone.  The story does NOT end here. Notice what else happens in Jeremiah 36.

Jeremiah 36:27-32 (KJV) Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying, 28 Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned. 29 And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast? 30 Therefore thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost. 31 And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them; but they hearkened not. 32 Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.

God gave all these word that were burned up and he gave them again in Jeremiah to write down.  Jeremiah wrote the words again and added many more like words that came from God.  What does this say about inspiration and preservation?  This is not the end of the story with Jeremiah and this word of God.

Jeremiah 45:1-3 (KJV) The word that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying, 2 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto thee, O Baruch; 3 Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.

God gives his word to Jeremiah the prophet again in Jeremiah 45 and notice this too in the fourth year  of the King.

Jeremiah 51:60-64 (KJV) So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon. 61 And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words; 62 Then shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever. 63 And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates: 64 And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

Notice the words written down by Jeremiah given by God is read again and this time the book is bound to a stone and cast into the midst of the Euphrates River and the Word of God sinks to the bottom of the river.   Oh NO! The word is gone.  God only inspires and he can’t keep his word right?  If you are reading these word right now, what did God do with them?  God inspired the words again.  God kept the words again. The word of God was destroyed twice in the book of Jeremiah and yet today you have the Word of God from Jeremiah. God kept his word and God has the power to keep his word.  The word was destroyed by fire and the word was destroyed by water.  Yet that same word was given to us today.  Which time was the word inspired?  Which time did God give us this word? Was God able to keep his word? Without a doubt God can and will keep his word. God preserved his word twice in Jeremiah and that means he has kept his Word in the King James 1611 Bible.

Can God keep a translation? Yes he can. Look at Acts 26.

Acts 26:13-18 (KJV) At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. 14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. 16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

God spoke to Paul in the Hebrew language.  This was written down in Greek by Luke.  Then it was translated into English.  Didn’t God inspire Luke to translate the Hebrew into the Greek? Can God inspire a translation? Yes he can.

I believe God inspires and translated the Bible when he has a mind to translate the Bible.  God can keep the Bible perfectly preserved through languages and times.  Jeremiah and Luke both show us what God can do with his word.  I chose the King James 1611 as both inspired and preserved perfectly by the power of the LIVING God. Can you see that God is both willing able to do this for us.

Help those who are reading this to understand it.  Help those who need to find this find it.  Bless them that do read this message.  Help them LORD.  In Jesus Name. Amen.

Why can Divisions be Refreshing?

Why do some people like divisions? Is it possible they are under the influence of the devil? I mean some think, Heaven Forbid! Right?  Should all we sinners meet together in one group? Why don’t we just get together form one big church? To some that sounds like a wonderful idea.  Is these idea really Biblical?  Isn’t the doctrine of separation foolish? This has not been an easy message to write. I hope you get something from it. It stepped on my toes, too.  I like toe stepping because it helps me and I hope it helps you, too.

1 Corinthians 6:15-20 (KJV) Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Should we all join with prostitution in our churches? It clearly says God Forbid! The Bible teaches separation.  We are to flee fornication including spiritual fornication. We are not to take just any person in and make them a teacher or a song leader.  We shouldn’t let just anybody lead the church.

I’ve seen two hour business meetings.  There cases where some does not like the color of the carpet and they will argue for hours with someone else and if they don’t get the color they want they will leave the church.  Come on, people. Isn’t this a little silly?  You will not catch me arguing over the color of the carpet or the style of the new drapes for the church.  It’s Majoring on Minors, right? I like business meetings that are settled before they start and last about fifteen minutes. And I like it when the Pastor settles who get to teach.  Now that isn’t as cut and dried as you thing it is.  Chances a good pastor has set down with deacons and leaders of the church before he makes such a decision.  He listens to what they have to say.  He asks questions about the teacher and before he talks to the teacher then he asks the church to accept them. Another thing, the pastor and perhaps a few well-chosen people have prayed about these decisions before they are announced to the church. The pastor who appears to make all the decisions is NOT a dictator.  If he’s done his job well he seen about the things ahead of time.  If the treasurer investigates prices and options before hand and then confers with the pastor and a few others, there is no need for a big discussion before the whole church is there?  The pastor will be held accountable for his actions by the LORD God if he does something wrong.

Hebrews 13:17 (KJV) Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

1 Peter 4:5 (KJV) Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

Being a pastor is a big responsibility.  He’s going to have to give account for the way he treated the church and its members.  The members will give an account to God when he judges the saints and those in hell. I can’t escape this any more than anyone else can. A pastor who protects his pulpit is doing his members a great and honorable service.  Thank the LORD for such good men of God and their service.

1 Timothy 5:17 (KJV) Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

They that rule well are worthy of a double honour according to God.  If they don’t rule well they could lose their pastor’s crown and face other judgments couldn’t they?

Now what about dividers? Now what about those who object. I’m telling you this so you will know and can be prepared for what is coming.  I’d like to be able to avoid some of the hard aches of my church life and the ministry and I’m sure you would, too. If we’d learn to do these things earlier in our lives make be we could have avoided some of the trials and hardships we have had to face?

Jesus came to divide families and groups.  Check out the Bible and see if I’m right on this.  Do you think divisions can be good for the church?  If someone is not standing for God he should not be included in the decisions of the church, they can be.  He could be leading the church wrong.  Such men and women belong to the devil and we need to wise up sometime about this. If the church is in conflict all the time, the Holy Spirit will never show himself and be active in the church like he would if there was peace.  Beware all of those who stir up trouble. Those sowing discord are directly keeping people for being saved.  I don’t like to see someone stepped on any more than the next person, but the person who is poking their head up about their rights are keeping souls from being won.  Our joy will be greater if we remove trouble makers from our mist.  If church can’t get along, then the churches should split to stay pure.  Oh how dare you say something like this!  Let’s see what the Bible has to say before you throw me out of your church.

Proverbs 22:10 (KJV) Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.

The Bible says we should cast out the scorner.  When we cast out the scorner then contention will cease. It shall go out. Strife and reproach shall cease.  That’s what says. It’s bitter medicine, but is true. Let’s dig a little deeper.

Proverbs 13:10 (KJV) Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

Contention is always the result of pride.  Ambition has ruined more than one church. Pride is at the root of all sins. When we get puffed up, others suffer.  A man who keep promoting himself in the church is a serious danger to the church. A man who is constantly correcting the Bible is doing it for the cause of ambition.  His pride is getting in the way. If he had stopped and had been listening to the Holy Spirit instead of his ambition, things might have turned out much differently.  Those who are so hard-hearted are not good for the church. They need to repent. Pride and fleshly ambition are at the root of many church problems.

Proverbs 21:24 (KJV) Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

A person who scorns is proud and haughty.  He will eventually have to deal with his pride with God’s wrath.  I get enough whippings without going out and look for some more and I am guessing you do too. One more group of scriptures and then I’ll let you go and ask God about all this if you will.  It’s pretty big bunch of text, but I think the meaning is clear.

Proverbs 26:20-28 (KJV) Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. 21 As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife. 22 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. 23 Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross. 24 He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him; 25 When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart. 26 Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation. 27 Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him. 28 A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.

With no wood there is no fire. If there is no talebearer there will be no strife. A contentious man kindled strife.  Burning lips and wicked heart can get someone into a lot of trouble. We need to be very careful what we say and do. There is much abominations in the heart of people who speak before they think things through.  They are digging a pit for themselves with hate and working ruin upon themselves all who listen to them. Should we be care in these matter?  Churches are important.  People are important and precious to God. Should they be precious to us?  I hope helps someone there who has the courage to listen to this message and follow it. Divisions are good for us because they can bring us closer to God. Divisions can increase the power of God in our lives. Divisions can increase our peace and joy.  I hope you have good services in the morning on the LORD’s Day.

Father God,
Help me! Help me to rule my tongue well.  Help me listen carefully.  Help me to be a help someone. Help someone find what they need.  Help them with their needs. Help them with their hurts.  Help them with homes. Help them with their family. Bless them according to you will for the life.  Help those who preach and teach do well.  Thank you LORD for helping today. Thank you LORD for your Blessings. Would you like to hear Jim’s Personal Story?

I thought it would be good to add a little more to my personal history. I hope this does not put you to sleep, but since I’ve been preaching so much on the web I should share some details about my life.

I was born in a place called Pocahontas, Arkansas in the old hospital. I lived there until I was 4 ½ years old and then we moved to 3 miles south Smithville, Arkansas. I have a baby sister who is 4 years young than I. Her name is Bonnie Sue.  She has a son Collin and Dakota. I am a single man.

My Mother was Vernadean Pickett and she died of Lou Gehrig’s disease and Breast Cancer back in 1998. She was the daughter of Dewell Pickett and Maire Mildred Meridith of Flat Woods, Annieville, Arkansas. I am a bit of a Historian. Years ago I did a family history and I found out a lot about my family roots. I can go on about those ancestors for hours and hours if I get encouraged to do so. My Dad is from Ravenden Springs and I’ve learned his family came to Missouri in the 1850’s and Arkansas in the 1880’s. His Dad was Thomas Jefferson Hughes and Nettie Evelyn Bennett.  He was the youngest son of James Columbus Hughes and Caldonia Francis Land., My family is very backwoods and my family history almost all goes back to Jamestown Colony in Virginia.  The Hughes came to Missouri because of our ties to the Daniel Boone family. I have family ties in Greenville, Tennessee. I have family ties in Kentucky. I have family ties in Tidewater Area of Virginia. Southeastern Pennsylvania. I have English, French, German, Scottish, Irish, Norman, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Polish, Celtic, Jewish, and possibly Egyptian blood. I have studied census records, microfilm, microfiche, family histories, tax records, cemeteries and the web for family information. That’s enough for now. As my pastor once reminded me, I have Royal Blood and that should be good enough for me.

I was a student at Strawberry Elementary in Strawberry, Arkansas for almost two years. It is right across from Jerusalem Baptist Church where I’ve been going lately. We using the school parking lot for the Church.  I graduated from Poughkeepsie High School, Poughkeepsie, Arkansas where I spent ten years of my life.  My graduating class only had 15 in it and K – 12 had only 120. I still remember those times fondly. Since the school has been consolidated with Strawberry.

I went to Southern Baptist College, now Williams Baptist College in College City, Arkansas for four years. I still remember these time with fondness. I made a very nervous Resident Advisor for a while and was a very interesting Student Government President.  I went from Williams to Eastern College, St. Davids, Pennsylvania.  I went there looking for a Christian school. I was happy there and at time I did know any better.  I got Bachelor’s in Arts when I was there.  I went from Eastern to Norristown, Pennsylvania where I worked in a Law Library for a short time.  At Eastern and the Law Library I got acquainted with DOS and IBM based computer hardware.

Later, I went to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas to graduate school.  I was there for about 3 years until I moved back to eastern Arkansas. I eventually went to helping with my mom’s illness and helped my Dad some.

Exactly 60 days after 9/11 I went back to church. I had not been in a church building but once between the time I was in Norristown.  I had accept the LORD as my Savior while at Southern Baptist College many years before.  I was at Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church for about 6 years where I taught Sunday School and gave devotionals to the church.  At Lonoke the LORD got after and got after me until I could not stand it one Sunday morning. I surrender to his call after I thought a lesson to my Sunday school class that morning.

Sometime later I left this church to study under an Old Fashion KJV Pastor and the possibility I could become his Associate Pastor.  After 6 months, I was asked to become his associate pastor. It was not an easy time and after two years my pastor and I left the church we were at and went to Gethsemane Baptist Church, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.  While there I worked for the church and school some. I preached some and door knocked some. I came to Gethsemane’s school while I still at Lonoke and I finished a Bachelor’s in Theology there before I left being an associate pastor.  In July I left Gethsemane and have been visiting churches since then. Gethsemane is a very fine church with a strong soul winning ministry with strong convictions about the King James Bible as being inspired and preserved by God for the English Speaking peoples.

I have over 100 semester hours of study in the field of History. I love history and the study of it. I am known for an encyclopedic memory of history – Local History, American History, European History and World History.  I also have a back ground in political science.  I did a paper while at Williams called No Bismarck: No Germany and I gave that paper again at Allentown, PA at a Phi Alpha Theta Conference.  I did a paper called Richard Nixon and Executive Privilege at Eastern College for my Constitutional Law class.  The topic for my master’s thesis was Theodore Roosevelt: The Rise of Executive Power.  I did a paper at the University of Arkansas on Robert Kennedy and His War on Organized Crime.  My favorite writer outside the Bible is Tom Clancy.  I’ve learned to back away from his writings, but I am very familiar with the early Jack Ryan character thru his first term of the Presidency. Back in High School I started to be a lawyer and I took a lot of classes I didn’t have to to prepare. I took History as prerequisite and wound up being a Historian.

I have studied computers since my time at Eastern College and the Law Library.  I know all kinds of stuff about 8088, 80286, 80386, 80486, Pentium I-IV and Bill Gates software.  I’ve messed with Tiger and Snow Leopard some.  I’ve spent some time learning CISO’s IOS, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server. I’ve spent some time with Microsoft Office and its programs. I am by no means an professional expert, but I am soaking it in daily.

I love old westerns with men such as John Wayne, Lee Majors, James Stewart, Clint Eastwood. I love Christian Movies and History Movies.  I still watch old movies, but I have retired my television and daily television programing.  I like good ball games.  I like to watch the Razorbacks sometimes both basketball and football. I tend to follow my favor NFL team, the Green Bay Packers. I like Pro Football, but I haven’t seen much in over two years. I like Indy car racing, but I haven’t seen much lately. I like NASCAR racing, but I haven’t seen a race recently. Shoot me! Kill me! But I am human, too.

I have a temper.  Sometimes I get surprises. Sins in the world cut me pretty.  Sin can make me angry. I have nerve problems sometimes and other times I can be solid as rock. I need to work on my patience. I can cry when I see people hurting. I can cry when I know needs to get saved. I cry when it hurts.  My skin is too thin. I love a good clean joke and a good laugh.

I love to walk. I strained to walk 4 miles just before dark this afternoon.  I used to walk a lot at Eastern College and Williams. I’ve walked about 60 miles in the few months. Walking helps clear my mind and my body. I used to play tennis when I was in college and I even played a few hole of golf. I can shoot a basketball some and throw a football a short distance, but I bruise easier than I used to. I like to play games when I was younger, but it’s kind of fell away.

I love my KJV 1611 Bible,  Bible History, the Old Fashion Old Time Way. I love OLD Fashion preaching like Jack Hyles, Tony Hutson, Curtis Hutson, Peter S. Ruckman, John R. Rice, Maze Jackson, Sam Gipp, B.R. Larkin, Jeff Owens, Scott Gray, Derek Collins, Brandon Martin, Terry Wallace, Andy Pace, Robert Randolph, Roger Randolph and a host of others.  Their preaching brings smiles to my face.  The Old Time Music warms my heart. I love the presence of Almighty God. I love people. I want to be in church every time the doors are open. I get excited when I’m soul winning. I get excited when I am in church. I get excited when a soul is won. I believe in prayer.  I believe God answers prayers.  What am I to do?

It’s been a long time since I’ve been in love with any woman, but I like the idea of marriage and family. I do NOT believe in asking anyone out that does not first show an interest in going out with me. I’m sure God has someone for me, but I don’t know about it yet.

I have been sick for many years with something. I did not know what. It has gotten worse and worse. Last fall I found out I had gall stones in my gall bladder. It has become very difficult for me to eat any kind of food whatsoever. In the last two years I’ve lost over 40 pounds. I’m not sure what I am going to do, but I know I need surgery. As of yet, I do not have the means for surgery. Thank you everyone for your prayers.

I’m not sure what God has for me. I have given my life to him and I cannot take it back even if I wanted to do so. I’m sure God has something prepared for me.  I’ve made many mistakes in my life. I’ve disappointed many people.  I’ve messed up and I’m good at. I don’t deserve any blessings. I don’t deserve to have any kind of life. I don’t deserve to live.  God has saved my soul. God has used me again and again.  My righteous is filthy rags. My life is vanity.  I am a nobody, yet I’m a precious in God’s eyes. Sometimes I wonder if God will just take me home to heaven, but for some reason he’s not done with me.  I’m sure we all have stories and if you stayed with this one this long I am amazed.

Who are Demons?

Who are demons and where did they come from? I’ve been studying some more and I’ve found a few things in the Bible. There are fallen angels upon the earth and in heaven before the throne of God. There angels loyal to God. There are angels that are to fall at Mid-Tribulation and these are Satan’s Angels.  There are angels than fell before the flood and these are now all in hell. It is a well-known fact that demons don’t have bodies, but the Bible tells that all angels have bodies.  Therefore demons are not angels.  That raises a very interesting question I’ve already asked. Who are demons and where did they come from?

Revelation 12:3-10 (KJV) And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

This is where Satan is and his angels.  They are the third part of the stars in Revelations 12. They have not rebelled against God yet.  They don’t do that until those from Israel flees into the wilderness for two hundred and three score days or 42 months or 3 ½ years.  Based on Revelation 11, I believe this does not happen till mid-tribulation.

What about the angels before the flood who fell?

2 Peter 2:4 (KJV) For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

Jude 1:6 (KJV) And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

They left their first estate which was as angels before God. This was their first habitation.  God has put them into every lasting chains of darkness.  To explain this is necessary to go to Genesis 6.

Genesis 6:1-6 (KJV) And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

The sons of God have to be Fallen Angels who came down from Heaven to live with man. Nephilim or Giants were the off spring of Fallen Angels and women from Seth and Cain.  These Nephilim were part angel and part man or a hybrid. They MAY have had souls like men. When they died they died like men die. They lost their body.  They MAY also had a soul and spirit like an angel that kept them from going to HELL when they died. Here is where the disembodied demons may have come from. What a twisted mess this is. This gives us a possible answer, but does not give us a definite answer to our question.

For those that don’t know, the Bible tells us man is appointed once to die and then comes the judgment in Hebrews 9.  The Bible also tells us that to be absent from the body is to present with the LORD in 1 Corinthians 6.

Why do I say that Angels have bodies?  They had bodies in Genesis 18-19. They had bodies in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.  They had bodies in Daniel and Revelation. In Sodom the men wanted to have sexual relations with the Angels.  They looked like men and in Genesis 18 they ate like men.

I wrote this message in an attempt to answer questions. I hope this helps someone and settles some questions for others. This is deep-deep-deep subject.  Sometimes we need to leave such things to God.  Sometimes there is no way to know definite answers before we go off to heaven. Sometimes there are a more important things we need to be doing. The thing when we have such questions is do research and ask God for answers. If God will not give us answers we need to be prepared to move on and return to our priorities. Thank you for your patience.

Help me! Help me! I am a sinner. I mess up. I don’t know all the answers. I don’t have all the answers. I know you do. Help others to find answers. What about Dispensations?

Do you need a priest to talk to God?  If you aim to live by the entire Bible, do you sacrifice animals for sins? Why don’t you observe the Sabbath or eat only certain kinds of meat on certain days? Why do you believe you have to be baptized in order to be saved? Why do you believe unknown tongues are necessary for salvation? Can a believer lose his salvation? Is salvation the same from cover to cover of the Bible? Is God done with the nation of Israel? Does the Church go through parts of the tribulation?  If do not get dispensations right you will have problems with these questions.  You need to know the right context in different parts of the Bible to know who God is talking to when he is speaking. Dispensations are the key to getting the Bible right much of the time. I am a Bible Believer and I accept the Bible over all other authorities.  The Catholic Church places the cannons of the Church on equal footing with the Bible. Their Pope has as much authority as the Bible and when the Pope conflicts with the Bible the POPE is always right.  That sound like the Pharisees and their traditions of Men being raise over the commands of God in the Old Testament. Doctrinal Statements do not supersede the Bible. Catechisms are NOT superior to the Bible. A preacher’s authority should never be greater than the Bible.  The Bible should be our FINAL Authority in all matters of faith and practice.

I am sinner. I make mistakes. I mess up. Isaiah 64:6 (KJV) But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Please Read this message with great care. I have made it available to you to help you.

Dispensations are a divisions of time with different rules and ways God deals with man through the 6,000 years.  There are eight different dispensations.  These dispensations are called ages.

Each one has a test or responsibility for man. With Adam and Eve it was the forbidden fruit. Thou shalt not eat. God is proving man is not able to govern himself.  We are sinners and when we are left to ourselves, we mess up. I’ve messed up. I’m guessing you have messed up and I’m sure everyone is included in this nasty problem with our race. No one is better than anyone else.

During each dispensation man fails God’s test and is judged for overall failure by end of the dispensation. Adam and Even took and ate the forbidden fruit. They failed the test. They did not live up to the responsibility to God.  Since they messed up, Adam and Eve had to leave the Garden of Eden and paradise.  In this age, we have failed with our churches, our families and our governments. The church will be taken out and sin will abound, those who reject Jesus Christ will be deceived and Anti-Christ will come.  In the Tribulation the Anti-Christ will prove man cannot govern himself without God.  It will end in utter ruin of the race. Wars, famine, disease, persecution and death will abound.  The reign of the Anti-Christ will be destroyed by the return of Jesus Christ.

God always singles out a special group to deal or focus with during the dispensation.  In the first dispensation God dealt with Adam and Eve.  In other ages it was Abraham, the Hebrews through Moses, and in this age, the church is primary focus.  God used the special group or individual as the focal point in witness to men.  God has an object for his special people. Sometimes it is Israel and other times it is the church. In the Millennium it will be the nations.

In each dispensation the means of salvation is different.  Sometimes we get the Holy Spirit in us and other ages they didn’t. Sometimes it is by Faith Alone and other ages works are part of it. The Church is only age, someone is born again.  Faith is important in the time of Abraham and David.  In the first age, Adam and Eve didn’t have to have faith until after they fell.  The rules of salvation were different.  This is news to even me.  Yes Romans and James tells us about how Abraham was saved by faith.  Genesis 15 and Hebrews 12 are the faith chapters of the Bible.  Faith is absolutely essential in our time.  If you mess up the dispensations you can mess up the rules for salvation.

There are eight dispensations. These are Innocence, Conscience, Human Government, Promise, Law, Grace, Judgment and the Millennium. Each one has a different time frame.  Some are longer than others.  The shortest is seven years and the church age is over 2000 years.  If you do not pay attention to the Bible, you will have trouble with these dispensations.

It is my desire that you go to heaven. It is my hope your life will be blessed.  It is my hope that this teaching gets to the right person.

Father God,
Help me a sinner before you!  Help me to do right in your eyes. Help me to follow you. Help the person who needs this message. Help the one who is struggling with this message.  Help the one who needs your mercy.  Help them to believe the truth.  Help them in their daily lives. Help them with their homes. Help them with their churches. Help me with my health.  Help me with my sleep. Help me with temptation and sin.
